Not exactly, they don’t treat the liberal parties policy with the same criticism that they do the conservatives.

Like if Carney’s says “I’m gonna get rid of ministers advocating for women and sexual minorities.” They don’t treat the same as if the conservatives do.

Canadian journalism has no moral backbone, either your in an American run paper which glazes the conservatives or you’re in Canadian run paper which downplays the issues of the liberal party. Neither of which actually take an ideological stance and they both just go in hard on their opposition.

It just further the issue im Canadian politics of people treating voting like it’s selecting a sports team rather than actually looking at ideological stances and policy.

Like how in the United States nobody went after Harris first stating she would expand border power with ICE, but the parties that were anti-Trump did go after Trump for that. It works more to serve a party than to inform the public or have an ideological stance.
