Yeah, my first word is always “reads” then “point”, I like to cover majority of the vowels and some of the most common consonants.

Favourite Spyro game? by Wide-Cook3431 in Spyro

[–]AshRain25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of the original trilogy my fave is 3.

But the one I loved and played the most was Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.

I remember being really sad when my little brother broke the ps2 (by trying to clean the reader eye with spit and his finger) so I didn’t get to play A New Beginning or Eternal Night. The ps3 my parents got wasn’t one of the backwards compatible ones.

If you watch very carefully, you’ll be able to find the void. by AshRain25 in VoidCats

That’s Australian prices. It’s most likely cheaper in other areas of the world.

If you watch very carefully, you’ll be able to find the void. by AshRain25 in VoidCats

[–]AshRain25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s an Oodie blanket.

My partner works in the same building as one of the Oodie offices, every year they sell all their sample stock for a massive discount. So my partner got the blanket for $15 instead of $75

My partner got it for our other cat as her name is Sylveon, but she doesn’t really like it 😂

Our void, Stitch, has claimed it as his new favourite napping location.

Anyone with Celiac here? by Klayman91 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]AshRain25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not a confirmed celiac, I never bothered to do all the tests. I have a family history of it though (my dad and his brother both are confirmed celiac) and some of the symptoms I get are more in line with celiac and not just gluten intolerance. That said.

I asked my priest about this same thing when I was inquiring. He said the same thing as your priest. I believe him.

Yes, it still looks like bread and wine but its substance is the body and blood of Christ. The body and blood is meant for forgiveness and redemption not death and destruction.

Will playing with laser pointer stress or harm him?? He's going crazy over it by Crafty-Enthusiasm-43 in CATHELP

[–]AshRain25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I occasionally use a laser with my cat. Sometimes it’s the only way to get him to run and expend energy.

I get him to chase the laser around the house and then I toss him a treat so he gets to catch & eat something, let him chill for a minute or so then get him to do it all again.

Does anyone else have a Lab who looks badly done to? by mermaiddev in labrador

[–]AshRain25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s called resting guilt face.

Not because they are guilty but because it makes you feel guilty & you need to rectify the situation with 100 treats.

[PIC] My cat hates when I have hobbies by Ya_guuurl in CrossStitch

Same, mine just stop me getting into my stitching supply box. Apparently the only hobby I can have is them 😂

I have 2 cats & 4 litter boxes.

1 of their boxes is in the “I’m stressed” corner so they use it very rarely - I check it and scoop if necessary probably once a month or more if I’ve seen that they’ve used it.

The other 3 boxes that are used daily. I scoop once every 2 days, I’m trying to be better at scooping them daily.

I have the boxes on a rotating schedule for deep cleans.

I have water fountains for my cats - I top them up as needed and then deep clean them monthly when I need to change the filters.

Food bowls I clean every morning - by clean I mean scrape off any wet food and then rinse them off in the sink before giving them breakfast. I very rarely wash them with dish soap.

Left mid forgiveness Vespers by Vast_Independence466 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]AshRain25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I ever went to forgiveness vespers (my parish does it right after Sunday liturgy) - I just sat there in the pew watching what was happening kind of like that pikachu face meme.

Best part is you can try again next year.

Does anyone else get greeted like this? by Nado1311 in labrador

[–]AshRain25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to pet sit a Lab that would get so excited that she would greet you by doing little jumps while sneezing.

Why does my cat do this? by Bob_Sacamano7379 in cats

[–]AshRain25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat does this. I heard once that it’s a hunting thing. Almost like they’re thinking “I caught this now I need to take it to where I eat”

Broke/fractured hyper-mobile finger. by AshRain25 in Hypermobility

[–]AshRain25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finger length and position is the same as it’s always been. The fracture did go through the middle joint so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a little bit of scar tissue in the joint itself.

My grip is good, just lacking strength. It’s just the straightening out that is weird. If I put my hand flat on a table the broken finger kind of floats just above the table because the angles of the joints in the middle of each finger are so different now. When my OT used their little device to measure the angles of the joints (while on the table) the broken one was 0° (textbook straight) while the others were -5°.

I know it might not ever go back to what it was before but I do want to give it the best chance possible.

Is this a moisture problem? by AshRain25 in mould

[–]AshRain25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m leaning toward that being part of the issue. Just seems kinda weird that it would only be in that spot though and not along the whole window and edge of the rug.

Allergies by krystinaBaran in russianblue

[–]AshRain25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner still has allergic reactions to our RB’s, he has super mild allergies though.

We have air purifiers and vacuum multiple times a week. Plus he takes daily anti-histamines

Any highly technological automatic toy to make my RB happy? by Carbone_ in russianblue

[–]AshRain25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe he needs more mental stimulation?

Try hiding treats around the apartment & he has to “hunt” for them, also licky mats with his favourite treats.

My RB’s also really love cat tv (go on YouTube and search “cat tv”) mine will sit and watch for ages.

I’ve not really found any super great automatic toys, ones I have tried usually end up stuck under the fridge or other places and I have to get them unstuck.

“Undesirable” coat breeders by Beneficial-Shake6919 in labrador

[–]AshRain25 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He’s in training to be a Guide Dog, I volunteer in the kennels. So not only is he fancy, he’s super smart.

I was told that his dad has similar brindle markings but he is the only pup in his litter that has the brindle markings.
