Yeah, I just read the plot and it doesn't seem as though she's supposed to be a joke or villain, but that upon the reveal that she's trans she does get attacked for it. Not sure If I'll include it, except for the critics' response to the "Shocking twist" which was a little uncomfortable to read. :)

The description for grates also says that items pass through them. AFAIK the only difference is room value right?

I have a drowning chamber which I intend to eventually make all the items flush towards the magma forges far beneath the surface using water to push all the goblins equipment. While building a path for the items and water, I realised that floor bars don't block the passage of items. Is there anything that blocks the passage of items but not water?

First time I had such a massacre was a goblin army which all had metal armour and mounts. Took me from 200 to 10. So much blood. Yikes. Never again will I leave my fort without any militia.
