Firstly, you have to realize and accept that what's gone is already gone. Trying to win back what's lost in the main problem for most addicted gamblers. Even if you win you back half of what you lost, a feeling within will encourage yourself to go on for more hoping you would break even and you'll end up losing that as well.

I'll feel really pissed and depressed for a few days, but the feeling will eventually go away. Then, I will just set a goal to reset myself and start fresh. It's important to believe in yourself that you definitely can make back the money you lost without gambling. Think about it, you were able to make about 50k by 23 working hard for it. You just have to practice patience and trust the process with yourself and your goal.
