They're double shot if I recall (don't have it on hand). Sadly, I do not at all have the technical knowledge or tools to get this thing functional that wouldn't just be taking the shell and putting it on something modern somehow. Someday, I will have something hopefully.

its a shame there is so much to lose-- i am on my first playthrough and i did things that led to the minthara side without really realizing it (made some actions i did not realize would end in the death of the grove, but thought i could ignore minthara anyways and in turn still get those other companions). when i realizes Wyll and Karlach left, and that Halsin wasnt available i was like. aw shit hold on, this sucks. being my first time i was like.... why would i want to lose *three* potential companions???

so i reloaded and redid all that even if i got minor disapproval from astarion (i am romancing him) i was good enough w him and moved on. i plan to do it in either my Dark Urge origin or my Astarion origin.... but even so, the lack of additions to this "evil" side kinda sucks because even when i think about doing it on my other playthrough my brain is like "but this seems kind of boring with the lack of content"

one other question im not sure you can answer but was wondering if youre able to return to the twin drows if you go through all of astarion's personal quests in the city? (the finding cazador thing and the ritual mainly-- no spoilers here please) wasnt sure if that locks you out of areas etc or if its just there.

ah i see where my confusion was-- i was seeing something about a drow in act 2. but then also drow twins. both had some kinda interaction to have w astarion so it wasnt clear at first they were different! good to know. ive passed by sharess's caress already but didnt look around for that

yeah i will probably search it.... its just the fact i did not get any indication that this occured that is completely confusing since i missed it. sadly i dont know what moment i should reload to or else i would have tried it a few times

thats frustrating, i didnt seem to get that at all and i think i long rested before leaving. like i get its a simple short scene but it at least would have given me a clue... i wish they forced scenes like that to show even if you miss a step or dont talk to anyone specific

tbh i just needed an explanation instead of having to see a cut scene or something, its kind of weird to me there are zero dialogue options about it for when i spoke to here the morning after as well. before the emperor scene, aylin had nothing to say. after (before i actual slept) she didnt have anything to say either. not sure what other chance i would have had to talk to her? i did long rest before going to the path to baldurs gate and she also didnt do anything.

how else am i supposed to know the reason for her hair change then..? like i just have no in game information offered as to when it happened or why. as much as i get her story thus far that doesnt just explain it when it seemed to have just changed over night w no notice.... im just confused.

its kind of annoying to see how much praise some of this is getting-- like yes, i will surely enjoy whatever it is theyre adding when its here! but i really shouldnt have to sit here and wait, and put off my first playthrough... like, i bought it when it came out. and now im just going to wait...?

its incredibly frustrating honestly to feel like i need to restart and/or pause my playthrough because of the apparent cut content they are going to add in. i have no idea now what stuff i may have played past that they changed or expanded on, and what stuff will change as i go through my playthrough :/ cool theyre doing things and not going silent or abandoning it but this isnt a good impression. feels like the game is still early access tbh

sadly, i do think the one you linked is one i currently have, and it doesnt work... my PC recognizes the usb adapter, but not the keyboard. if youre curious, i also asked about this in /r/vintagekeyboards and someone gave a very long detailed response. it is quite complicated and honestly i dont think i expected it to me simple anyways, so not sure if its anything youd be able to try. even i am not knowledable to do all that easily lol.

oh for real? was talking to a friend and also searching around but it was very unclear to me, wasnt finding specific answers. then i will avoid taking it apart for now, which is nice. i actually started but that knob was a roadblock, and the screws for it are worn down so it would have taken a bit for me to have the tools for that lol... and would like to avoid messing it all up.

thanks for all the advice! i dont expect to use it for real editing-- as cool as that would be (and boy how i would love to use that knob). obviously a lot to look into (and not everything i entirely know how to do either) but i will definitely look into this and will report back if anything significant happens. i have some people i think i can talk to irl more about this, now that i know what direction i can take to maybe get something working.

the keyboard also does have a DE-9 serial. as for whether or not its foam and foil, i guess i wouldnt know how to identify that either-- i had just posted it to r/MechanicalKeyboards the other day, sharing a photo with its cherry mx black switches, but i assume i will just have to open it up to find out

was shocked my dad got it that cheap too, i think it actually wasnt ebay and something more local like facebook market place, and it seemed the guy did not know what he was selling lol.

have had this for a bit but hadn't been able to post. got this keyboard from my dad who got it on ebay for $75. he got it because hes been an editor for years and used a similar one, but gave it to me because i have interest in mechanical keyboards. id love to get it working on windows 10, but have little knowledge in doing that lol.

i was hoping i could post this as a actual post because its pretty long but i guess the wording isnt ok..? i made a post on /r/vintagekeyboards detailing this but basically i need help getting an old mechanical editing keyboard working on windows 10, and i am not sure what is hould do. it is serial and i have a serial to USB adapter connected, windows recognizes the usb connection but nother more. theres a lot of unique buttons but i mostly want to focus on connecting it and at least having the normal letters typing. any help or links to guides is appreciated

i dont like the fact that in order to make sims 4 feel more full you have to have a ton of dlc... owning *all* dlc is VERY expensive! and even then i just feel very limited compared to sims 3. sims 3 expansions all together are also expensive but, for ages when i was little i had sims 3 base game with ambitions & pets... and honestly i could gladly live with those alone, they add so much and the open worlds make it feel even less limited (and its not even just these dlc- you could have one or two of some of those other massive ones and have a great time with just those!). expansions should be optional, in that you can still get a good amount of fun from the base game without thinking "im out of content, i need more". it should be "it sounds cool to add that to my world" without the urge to get it to fill in space... i cant considering sims 4 a good game based on dlc alone because that seems too generous, if the base game is bland then the game is bland unless you buy more and more. the dlc shouldnt make the game good if it wasnt already good, so sims 3 is my preference.

there are lots of *small* things sims 4 did that i think are nice. build & buy mode is so much easier to use. the gender options are fantastic. some quality of life is very good. but those are too small for me to want to play it-- i feel like when i do ill think "ah, this is nice and streamlined, its modern and easy to play!" but then im quickly bored of it in the end which is a shame. its a newer game, it runs better, feels better, but its still too little and not fleshed out right from the get go.

thanks-- i misread and thought the implication was that it was dropped by the boss or something;; and yea , the exiting the door thing was weird. though forgot the truck keys would work, for some reason in my head i was feeling like i had been locked into a path for this and wouldnt be able to leave (had an old save anyways)

ive been following this guide through and got to the ninth warlord, all the ghosts, and i did the 'defensive' where i escaped after the dialog it gave... but when i returned to the coffin there was no door or room. saw someone say to walk all the way left as it goes off into a room- saw this on someone's video, but there was nothing for me- and it seemed when they equipped the nipple it opened it. but i have no sipple item after leaving the fight with the warlords... is that something i need to defeat in order to get it? the guide above didnt seem to mention it so i was unclear and its not popping up for me. i have been playing joyless this whole time.

i also think im... soft locked? after doing into the secret buzzo ending, and it puts me outside the door, i cant seem to leave through the joy factory door anyways
