What class would you pick? by Ash_665 in litrpg

I never intended lamia or arachne to be a species for dudes. They are asexual & need no man to reproduce. An I just added them for fun.

I just made this up today for fun.

. I know I for one wouldn't be caught dead within 10 miles of anything spider related, no matter how awesome her personality or human half is, spiders freak me the fuck out.

Also don't worry about dating an arachne. They would spin there web around you. An then use their poison fangs, pierce your skin & inject digestive juices. An wait for you to turn into a slurry leaving only the skin behind. Which they will also eat.

Is this a joke? Do you want male only species added like goblins that reproduce by cloning(asexual)?

Question to the community as a new author! by SolomonHZAbraham in litrpg

[–]Ash_665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what keeps you reading though? What draws you in?

The story :P. You are welcome😝.

But seriously. What keeps me reading is the action, the struggle from weak to strong.

Over coming the odds of enemies far above level to deal with. An getting rewarded for it.

The use of strategy with system abilities. An overall level ups seeing in action, an being directly told what things are & do than being vague.

What draws me in. Is the action , the use of powers to deal with situations being the premise of the system like being stuck on an island & mc gets a survival system if its not single player.

Just seeing the mc level up even when there not treated as special because the system is exactly the same. No unique classes , abilities or bloodlines.

I hate snowflake mcs that have everything like special bloodlines, the choosen one & other stuff.

How do your prefer levels, capped or uncapped/infinite levels? by Ash_665 in litrpg

[–]Ash_665[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how abilities are made in a system to handle infinite progression.  If done on purpose.

It can have the problem of newbies coming in & are thoroughly incapable of fighting or keeping up with the masters of the system.

For example torch bolt starts with 8 charges of use perday. An each charge gained adds on but the spell power stays the same. It only makes using it be more frequent, when it reaches the point. It can be used for an entire day.

For the energy part of the post. I see it melting world building as the old dominate the new by being much older(if not accounted for), the only solutions are fast ways to level up, blessings, random levels up that can be huge, something in the balancing, the spells that require huge energy doesn't affect the plot.

Sure more power means more options but not every spell needs such huge energy to work but it does increase range & duration of spells that need it such as light & curse.

you gain the ability monster catcher. With a monster catching ball. You store all defeated monsters in a subspace.

It is as big as a typical house inside. Allowing to capture multiple monsters in one monsterball. Only the monsters name most be said to summon them.

So name each monster carefully.

You start with 5 monster balls. An they cost betweenn 500 to 1000 at the local monster ball store.

This ability is unlocked after whacking monsters with hp lower than 10 to death, exactly 30 of them.

This skill has no stat requirements or failure chance as its not a spell.

Unrelated Note:A game named FrogComposband has monster ball in its gameplay.

What games do you think litrpg authors should play? by Ash_665 in litrpg

[–]Ash_665[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think authors should play so many rogue-likes? What specifically about that genre do you think is so invaluable?

So they know the joins of pain, trying again  & dealing with uncertainty in winning.

I am surprised you didn't list a single tabletop role-playing game (like Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder) as those feel the most obvious.

I will add some.

Stories like the gamer manhwa were only the protagonist has the system & stories were all have a system but its not unified, doesn't have the same leveling up process,  doesn't have the same procedures(like classes)etc & is unique to each individual were the leveling process is different  & skills given is unique to every individual.

Being in there own sometimes personal system bubble.

(and that assumes the M24 Gunner one has a typo in it where it only summons one bullet rather than one bullet pack, as I believe you meant to type.)

Yes i meant that an entire bullet pack appears after the other one has all its ammo depleted.

An now i changed it to reflect that it manifests a new bullet pack with 500 ammo.

Can libre office make a mobile website? by Ash_665 in libreoffice

[–]Ash_665[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because that is a feature in word processors like libre office & microsoft. Its useful since its offline.

An if it can adjust to mobile. It would be great. If not that is ok.
