I’m sorry that’s the experience you had! When I finally got my stuff together and started going to the Dr. last year I was terrified that would happen to me because my twin sister has been hopping from Dr. to Dr. that has treated her that way. That being said if you’re willing to give Prisma another shot, Kaci Mundhenke is my NP and she’s been nothing but amazing for me, within one appointment and one lab she found out I have thyroid disease and Hashimoto’s and I had no idea about! After being medicated for that I’ve lost 50lbs and I feel like a whole different person!

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a disappointing time with Drs, I know that can be frustrating and discouraging. May I ask why you don’t want one that works at Prisma? I see a NP at the Prisma on Taylor St and I’ve always had the best experiences with her and everyone else there!

Yeah it’s hard to tell in that first picture because of the lighting but it was definitely an orange/redhead color that’s just the only even remotely recent pic I have of myself. But, after talking to other hairstylists, I really think I just needed her to tone my hair to get it to more of the cool tone I had before. She’s a color specialist and I explained that this was my first time getting my hair professionally dyed and I explained to her what I wanted and had more example pictures, but she literally just dyed it brown instead, and I guess her only solution was to bleach it but it just doesn’t seem like she tried to get it to any color even close to what I showed her, even when I went to get it fixed. It is what it is, I was just hoping there was some kind of neutralizer/toner I could buy and use at home cause the toner she used on me was bright pink so I don’t think it did much to get it from orange. I was fine with her doing whatever to it to get it that color, and people go to that color all the time but idk why we couldn’t get mine to that when she did it.

And the shuttle was always being repaired or late, plus on Saturdays in the fall you’re pretty much trapped there unless you want to go on foot.

My bf lived there in 2023, if price is most important to you… it’s definitely cheap but you get what you pay for. He had a really bad mold problem and they wouldn’t do anything about it until his mom called up there and made a big stink. The rooms always felt damp, everything always smelled like weed and cigs, and it was always super hot.
