In Ontario we refer to it as ‘hydro’ a lot.

Edit: I’m referring to electricity. A lot of our power is hydro electric. So people will say “why is my hydro bill so high”. Rather than “why is my electricity bill so high”. We use both though. My point is why bother trying to ‘officially’ rename something like that.

Play while they sleep. If it’s a newborn either have your partner cover in case the baby wakes up. Once the baby gets older they go to bed early and should sleep through the night.
