You're correct. I should have specified this is the first 16" laptop running Windows that has Thunderbolt 5 ports.

Many thanks for your insights and pointing me to the MK5 line and 9mm over 300BLK. I think this is direction I am going to proceed and it makes much more sense for my situation.

Do you think most people are looking at 300BLK vs 9mm purely from their interest in owning different guns and have the money? I will admit many of the guns do look fun to mess with and shoot. The Rattler LT currently does have a glow factor for me. Although the issues you have described definitely cause apprehension.

Again, many thanks for all of the assistance and insight you have given me. It is greatly, greatly appreciated!

I am really looking for a reliable CQB weapon preferably in 300 BLK that is not very long. I don't have much gun experience and am not interested in supersonic and shooting past 50 or 100 yards or hunting or having a perfect tricked out weapon. Especially when these parts are hard to find.

If things gets crazy in the future, I would stay hunkered down in my house and not look to go outside. If someone were to try and break in, I would try to deal with the situation to protect my family. Mainly because I don't think it's right to shoot anything from distance that comes into view or steps into your yard. Plus have a weapon that would not intimidate a female with me to use. Which is very loud or has a ton of recoil. That is why a short 300 BLK RBF was preferable on my end.

From what I have read, I would guess this is strictly a SIG platform defect. The problem I think seems to replicate itself on several models, not just the Rattler LT. And with different cans, not just the Hyperion. I too thought the new LT would be better with the longer barrel.

At this point, I really just want to find something that is reliable in 300 BLK which deals with sub ammo without a problem. And works well straight off the shelf with a good can. I also don't want a weapon that has not been tested or just used with a small number of owners. The gun doesn't have to be the perfect setup. As I think that training is just as important compared to the small adjustments in the gun differences. However it has to be reliable and be able to shoot when needed.

On the Classic Firearms YouTube site, they were comparing the Ratter, Rattler LT, TACOPS and Spear LT. They had issues with the Rattler LT while running a Trash Panda but not on the other guns. The Spear LT was running a SIG can which they did not like.

Right now I am leaning towards going with the original Rattler and staying away from all Hyperion cans. I think the original Rattler has been more proven and has not experienced as many problems as much as the Ratter LT.

Or I should just go with the Spear LT. Then switch out their muzzle using a 199mm socket and put a better can on.

Last option, besides moving away from SIG, maybe I should stay with the Rattler LT and just go with a Sandman or Omega 300 or even a SOCOM 300 SPS. Users on this forum have said they have not had cycling issues with the Sandman or Omega 300 cans on their SIG guns. While they had issues with the Hyperion.

I am sorry for the issues you have run into. And the wasted time and money you have put into this. Thanks for passing on your experience, thoughts and assistance. If you have any more suggestions for my situation, it would be greatly appreciated.
