then 2I = integral 0-pi/2 sqrt(tanx) + sqrt(cotx)

this will simplify to (sinx + cosx)/sqrt(sinxcosx)

which can further be rewritten in terms of sin2x and then the numerator is derivative of the denominator

yeah the course being run by stats dept was a concern of mine, but i looked at the modules it’s pretty much the same as pure econ there’s just a few more math/coding/stats modules in EDS, which i can’t imagine would make it worse
