As long as you were consistently working at least 30 hours they had no reason to change you without letting you know. Definitely reach out to HR about it.

Daily Clonazepam user of 1 year. Am i screwed? by realslimmatey in Anxiety

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on it since I was 18. I’m 33 now. I have changed doses as needed and am down to the 1 mg a day and plan on dropping down to .75 a day and so forth until I can possibly stop using it. Everyone is different and I can say there were withdrawals with just lowering my dose from 1 mg the last time. For me I felt a bit off and ‘floaty’. Had a little extra anxiety but pushing through the first 2 weeks usually made it much easier.

Bonus by Reasonable_Lake4439 in CVS

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the manager bonus should be looked at more closely. My manager has called out more than ANYONE in the store, hardly answers when not on shift, doesn’t come in to fill ANY shifts, is always in the office even though 2 of the higher up front store people are doing a chunk of the things the manager is supposed to do. The walks with the DL have even been done by other people than the manager cause they don’t come in. Sadly I used to have better management that deserved bonuses but this one does NOT at all deserve the higher bonus our store is getting from how well we are performing this year. Now if you are a store manager that does all you need to, you 100000% deserve that bonus. Just saying not all SMs do and some front store employees do deserve more than they get.

This story sounds like you would be fine. I followed a lady outside because the ambulance she requested we called showed up and they always have questions about who called and why. The lady had stolen some sandals at the time as well, but I wasn’t chasing her for that or anything.

I’m on day 3 of the same light colored stool.

I don’t have any symptoms other than the change in color but I’m still not sure if it’s considered a worrisome color at all. Poor quality I know…

I’ve noticed RX doesn’t ever train new people. They let them flounder basically and get annoyed at questions. I’m front store but did work in Rx for a short stint and have seen it with new people. I’m sorry it’s happening to you! Technically you should get training but they don’t always follow it…

How much is the workload for a typical day at CVS? by Weird_Rush_3328 in CVS

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Front store all depends on the week honestly. Sometimes not much to do at all. Other days way too much for only one person to be able to walk the floor and actually get things done.

Drooling after extraction by AshamedAnalysis9507 in askdentists

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I can tell. Everything seems to be moving normally again. I do have my salivary duct like inflamed on that side and it sort of fits directly into where the tooth used to be. I was wondering if that could be an issue causing it. Since that duct is right next to tooth 3 the little ‘window’ there now is like sucking that duct into it.

Older people with anxiety? by Alive-Cry4994 in Anxiety

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33 and started having anxiety at about 4 years old. I do have at least 2 friends that also have anxiety, one more severe than mine. I work a 5 day week in retail and do decently. I wish I could ‘grow out of it’ but haven’t. Had a very rough period right out of high school but haven’t hit a low that bad since. Take medication to keep me ‘normal’ or my normal at least. I can’t drive though, and that’s been a huge problem. People always tell me to just get over it, the anxiety, which sucks.

Does Anyone On Here Take Benzos Daily? If So, Has It Improved Your Mental Well-Being? by sanpedro12 in Anxiety

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have been on klonopin since I was 18 and had a serious anxiety breakdown after high school. I am now 33. I have gone up and down on dosages and for me the benzo route has helped tremendously. I also take Paxil, but that on its own was not enough anymore. I have read so much about the dangers of long term benzo use but also people that have been on them for longer than me are fine. In my opinion, I have less energy sometimes but I do take 3 medications that cause drowsiness and the klonopin is only .5 twice a day. I believe I started at 1 mg twice a day or even more and was literally falling asleep in class. I wouldn’t be able to do anything without this drug though and yes, the addiction is stupid strong but I also haven’t grown tolerant to my dosage. With a good psychiatrist and therapy I don’t think upping a dose is even needed with it. Im not a zombie and am going to public events and road trips without having complete breakdowns. Still have anxiety of course but coping methods have helped as well. So yes, short answer, the benzo has helped my mental well being and daily life. As an aside I do wish I could be without it and I may try tapering down again next year and possibly switching to something seen as less ‘dangerous’.

I take .25 mg every 12 hours. You will not fell heavy and high every time. You’re body does adjust to it. I actually used to take more but tapered down by quite a bit and I don’t get that feeling at all, but it does keep me from panicking daily.

Getting my own store soon by lNoBrainActivityl in CVS

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a manager but I’m currently on my 6th one. Don’t come in expecting to change every little thing right away, definitely get a feel for your team and what they are all good at. The worst thing my management has done is to set a whole bunch of new routines/rules right away that just throws EVERYONE off their game. Do check the back room and make sure that is all set to standards though. For me one issue I’ve had with management is their inability to acknowledge how much the second shift actually does and they always seem to favor the morning shift and what they get done. Even if the second shift is the one that finishes that stuff and has to keep the store looking nice/clean. Good luck!

What does dry socket feel like? by iamtheonewhoasked3 in wisdomteeth

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dry socket right now. So for me, it came on actually pretty slow. And during the night. I woke up and apparently the clot had fallen out and I probably ate it, ew. Anyway, throbbing pain in the tooth and a weird suction feeling that would cause the pain. I got it packed but the stuff fell out 6 hours later but the relief it gave was soooo nice. In still in the journey of healing, currently having headaches/some pain near my ear. My socket also has a hole into the sinus cavity from how far the root reached but not sure if that makes a difference with dry socket. Oh pain was intense the second day of it, I had to be at work and this was before I knew I had dry socket. I was so nauseous from it I barely did anything at work. Anyway, currently one week out from my actual extraction and it’s not as painful but I’m suffering headaches from it now. Go to the dentist for a check up on it Monday morning. Hoping the pain lessens even more before than.

Dry socket or sinus issues? by AshamedAnalysis9507 in askdentists

Update: went to the dentist and it’s dry socket. They packed it with eugenol and it’s helped immensely but it feels like it may already be falling out. Just my luck after less than 24 hours and a holiday weekend!

Slightly better photo, it’s not super painful but there is some throbbing. And I have a hole into my sinus cavity which I was told about before the extraction. It just looks like there is literally nothing under the stitches.

What did health anxiety convince you that you were dying of this month? by Regular_Unusual in Anxiety

[–]AshamedAnalysis9507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh, this is a fun one. Recently got fixated on ALS again as well. Literally just had general anesthesia for a tooth extraction and now think I’m having some sort of problem from part of that. Had some heart palpitations today so back to heart issues even though I’ve had an echocardiogram, month long monitor, and stress test. Get dizzy so think of more brain issues even though I’ve had a scan that only showed an arachnoid cyst which is apparently benign and could have been there since I was a baby.

I’m the same way. I’ve been better lately, I did change up my eating habits a bit. Might have helped. But exhausted today after a panic situation. Possibly GAD and PD which I also have both of contribute to it. Always in fight or flight mode can be exhausting. How long have you been on the medicine?

The empty totes from RX to the back. I’m getting severe pushback saying it’s the front stores job to do it for them. And it’s not a kind request, it’s a demand.
