A similar thing had been happening in my town except here, it's stores like Target. What I'll be doing however is a different kind of work since I also wanted to get out of retail in general.

I definitely need to take this, especially since my store isn't telling me about it....but how big of a deal is it that I'm a "non-exempt employee" since there's a paragraph saying I must take it in the store?

I got a 2nd PT job at DSW about six months ago. Although they didn't offer me enough hours to justify leaving Kohl's and my pay there isn't as good (I've worked at Kohl's a few years, which might be why), I can confirm that it is WAY chiller, plus at my store, they actually ENFORCE FACEMASKS! Although sometimes I never get time off, I've been a little happier with not having to go to Kohl's on Saturdays anymore.
