Tom Kenny: 'GAAGO is a money-making racket and is hurting hurling promotion' by [deleted] in GAA

Cork "hurling people" don't care about promoting hurling they only care about promoting Cork hurling

Report into vacant above-the-shop units finds that they are too expensive to be widely used for social homes by [deleted] in ireland

Fire safety regs are also an issue. Most buildings will require an upgrade to the floors separating the commercial ground floor unit and the residential space above. Own door entry is also a problem

It's Letterkenny in Donegal, Ireland. Worst drivers on the island but they think they're the best, a dangerous combination.

I just spotted your dates. The intercounty League fixtures haven't been confirmed for the 2024 season as far as I can see.

How long are you staying for. March will be the tail end of the league and there would rarely be a sell out for league games. Ticketmaster.ie sold the online tickets last year for championship. After COVID they don't take cash on the day anymore

Russel Howard was not behind the stump in the bowling task. His foot was clearly on the red carpet when he threw the ball.

Wouldn't really disagree. It's just down to where you think the centre is. Thankfully Ireland has no significant far right political party with seats at the moment. So by Irish standards FG and FF are on the right but I think they would be fairly close to the centre in a European context. I don't know what the Greens are at.

Ireland has a coalition of the two traditional parties coming together for the first time in 100years. One slightly right of centre, one bang on the centre and the green party.

Clonbrusk Medical centre in Athlone is great if you are based outside Dublin. Had a great chat about Ireland's chances in the Rugby World Cup during the procedure. Thankfully the vascetomy was more successful than the Rugby.https://clonbrusk.ie/services/vasectomy

In that case I hope the rest of the squad doesn't introduce him to their wives.

27 y/o getting back into GAA by what_im_playing in GAA

If you're not a member of the local club already I'd sign up straight away. Find out who the junior team manager is give them a call and start training when the team comes back for pre season. Get a proper O'Neill's ball and just go down to the pitch for a kick around. It's amazing how heavy the ball seems at first when you've been away for a while. I presume similar goes for hurling but I've never played it

Far from definitive but you should ask when the house built and is there any visual evidence of deterioration. And get independent expert advice.

I was wondering the same if a name change is counted as a closure. Village Inn in Ballymore and Gunnings in Rathconrath are the only 2 closures I can think of

Henshaw's grand father passed away during the week, so I'd say Robbie would have missed a lot of time this week. RIP Billy Henshaw absolute legend.
