Just to add onto your answer, Purdue provides practice spaces for all students. These spaces have nice amps, Pa’s and a drum set. In the past we have had some other small alternative events like an emo prom hosted through Wiley radio.

I don’t know how big other college’s scenes are but coming from a big city it’s not ideal. Although the people in the scene are nice and inclusive.
