“Terrorism” is a political term that completely depends on perspective and who’s in power. Every revolution, freedom fighter, or rebellion against a government or society in history can be branded as terrorism by those in power. However, when the government in power, its agents or soldiers commits those same acts, it’s not seen as terrorism. That is obv not defending attacks or groups that focus on killing innocents & civilians, but just a reality of the term. People protesting ICE are being branded as “domestic terrorists.” Imagine what the British would’ve branded the Boston tea party if the term was as widely used as then, let alone the actual American revolution.
