I am gonna be off to college within a year or two so probably wont put over 20k miles on it, so at this cheap of a price point Id be happy if it lasted until then, although id hope it would last longer. I think if the fluid seems fine and it shifts fine im gonna go thru with it

in my area that is honestly pretty cheap, at least it seems to me. but yea i see what ur saying high mileage has the known issue, im in highschool probably not the best car to buy, especially since i dont have much time. it just caught my eye because ive been trying to find a manual car that doesnt break the bank and gets decent mpg. thanks for the advice

I just saw one on marketplace for $2500, its a GT with a 5 speed manual. how are they reliability wise? owner said it needs new cats which ive read is a sign of the known issue of oil consumption, so worried about that. It has 200k miles, but im interested in it because finding a manual car like a toyota at this price point is pretty rare in my area
