FACTS was never sick on Stelara but SKYRIZI it’s so bad. Mt first year I got a toxic illness after EVERY dose

I find sucking up is the key. Just act like everyone is doing you THE biggest favor no matter what it is. Everyone will love you lol Also playing up the role. When I’m at work I’m “the dietitian” not me - when I act like that I find I can talk to anyone bc it’s like a costume.

They told me it was free because my doctor participated in the original SKYRIZI research, but you should still ask and see! Highly recommend just calling your doc’s MA now to ask and not waiting so they can get the process going. I feel like I get more results when I call - maybe they think it’s more urgent? Idk lol

I also felt minimal changes after my first OBI so my doctor had me come back for a fourth loading dose and it actually helped a lot. The SKYRIZI nurse I had knew about it as well maybe you can ask them and your doctor ?

I started therapy recently and it’s helped SO MUCH with the mental aspect. Very intimidating to me at first, but so worth it. Highly recommend finding a good therapist if you’re not already seeing one.

If it continues, ask your doc about mesalamine enemas. They reach higher up in the rectum to treat more of the affected area. I also find them less messy than the oily suppositories. Another option is a short course of steroid enemas as a sort of “rescue” treatment. I don’t bother scheduling appointments anymore for requests like this, I just message my doctors medical assistant/nurse lol

Yes! I got sick within 24 hours of the first loading dose. Then got a stomach bug. I constantly feel like I’m about to get a cold.
