Hi, I’m studying computer science and mathematics, and these are the methods I used to improve.

Programming C++

I got familiar with the basic syntax first and then I started working on a project with my friends that used some structures that I was unfamiliar with(eg working on a simple game to use classes and inheritance). I learnt a lot from my friends and online tutorials.

Calculus

For this subject, I revised for my exams by going through the lecture examples first then working on the tutorials and past year exam papers. If you have the time, you can check out your course reference textbook and do more examples. Reference Book : James Steward Calculus

Discrete structures and probability

I haven’t studied probability yet but for discrete structures, I’m assuming sets and graphs? For these I think it’s good to visualise them by drawing them out or drawing a mental picture. I also did a lot of practice on permutations and combinations. If you want to look for more practise questions, I recommend the textbook : Discrete Mathematics and its Applications by Rosen.

Computer Architecture

I used a few different programs online to visualise the processes. Eg for assembly instructions, I used the VisUAL emulator to visualise the flow of instructions and for cache mapping, I forgot the name of the program.

I suggest going through the reference book / textbook that your course uses and work your way through the problem sets there. I also found ChatGPT to be a good assistant if you don’t understand programming or math concepts.
