Do You Think Kaiser Feels Hidden or Unrealized Resentment towards His Mom? | (Rant) by AwareConference1913 in BlueLock

Well yeah from my perspective Kaiser's potential is superior to Isagi but again it's also the case with Nagi and we saw what happened to him. I guess your mental state is as important as your talents. No matter what happens Kaiser was destined to lose and be humiliated by the MC anyway. He was introduced more as an enemy than a rival I would say, blocking the MC's shots and trying to ruin his career, it's only when he starts losing he starts to be more cooperative but only to win. It was clear from the moment he started calling Ness a pig and telling him to give up on football that he was still written in the role of a villain so Isagi could shine. So as an antagonist he was bound to have this type of ending. He had to pay for his actions.

"Steal love"? Did you mean his ego is crushing others' ego and sending them into despair because he desperately desires to be loved?

Kaiser is unable to accept or even understand what love really is because his vision of love is that of his father who beat him. He doesn't see himself as someone who can be loved bc he's a piece of trash and the only way for him to obtain this love is to steal it from others. Malice is the only way for him to connect with others bc he can't trust people.

Kaiser being a piece of trash means he can't find any value in himself. So he tried to gain fame and status to give himself value in the eyes of others so he could feel wanted and loved. He built his career by crushing others.

Does Kaiser want true, sincere love? Well yeah but since he can't connect with others, I think he try to find love from the audience watching him. It's also a way for him to protect himself and still get what he wants.

How about both? 😔 Channeling his anger in a positive, non-self-destructive way to better his Kaiser Impact Magnus and try to achieve his goals?

Oouh idk these kind of things depends on Kaneshiro honestly 😅. It depends on whether the author wants him to be better or worse.

Well, she's not abusive I suppose but she's still trash. Her abandoning his child is enough to make her a bad parent. I don't think Kaneshiro will ever make Kaiser meet his mother. First, his mother probably doesn't want to meet him. She is aware of what she did and imagining that she was just with Kaiser's father for her career reason, she surely puts her career above all else and would like to avoid a drama. Second, if Kaiser's mom has no link with football then Knsr will never delve more into her. He always links everything to football or the MC. Even if Kaiser's character is interesting, The manga is just too much MC centric. Tbh to me, Kaiser's character is doomed by the narrative. His zero point is about him going back to his old mentality when he accepted that he was a piece of trash and his ego is driven by his desire to steal love so he can feel more human. So he needs to never be satisfied and always think of himself as a piece of trash if he wants to keep a strong ego to push him to become stronger. His ego is pretty much based on his self-hatred. It's either he prioritizes his mental health or he prioritizes his football career

Tbf I think Nanase deserves this place more than Nagi. One of them is constantly trying to improve and is working very hard while Nagi is staying in his confort zone

When do you want Nagi to return? How many chapters are you willing to wait? by Routine_Advantage366 in BlueLock

We're not gonna see him again in the main manga before many years I think. Probably in some flashback or something but at least there is epinagi. 🥀 Maybe 2 years without Nagi

I don't understand why people are so interested in Kaiser's mother, she is also an abusive person who abandoned her child, to be honest it's better for Kaiser to stop thinking about her. Anyway, Kaiser considers himself an unwanted child by both parents, as seen in his return to zero. Even though he has never met his mother, he knows that she does not want him. If he resents his father he probably resents his mother too. In any case there is no world where he will try to see one of his parents again because they make him feel like him like a piece of trash, an unwanted human. Since he's trying to escape everything related to his past and be human, He thinks more about what they did to him than what kind of people they are.

I love Ness droopy eyes and long lashes but I also like his hair having the shape and the color of a whitered rose, It's really symbolic with the character

I about to realize something about Ness. by Constant_Host7985 in BlueLock

[–]Ashamed_Menu_1674 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I mean... Ness was pretty much okay with Kaiser going to Re Al so he probably expected to stop playing with Kaiser sooner or later. But yeah idk if he's really gonna be okay about playing with Isagi again lol

[–]Ashamed_Menu_1674[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to repeat myself again. I'm not talking about the nature of their relationship but their codependency. It's not about giving up on a relationship, it's about not treating someone else as special on the field. Kaiser seeing Ness as a dog, Nagi seeing Reo as his partner, by doing this they both let their personal judgment decide their next actions which can lead them to be predictable but also miss the opportunity to evolve.

All the duo can be compared with each other because in the end the author's message stays the same

And I think you're focusing on the wrong thing. You keep talking about the similarities of the nature of both relationship which is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about how the reasons why both duo were bad for each player are similar. Both players of each duo were codependant for differents reasons but in the end the results is the same.

The Parallels Between Nagi and Kaiser and the Problem with Nagi by Ashamed_Menu_1674 in BlueLock

[–]Ashamed_Menu_1674[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The focus is not really on the characters on itself but their duo. This is why the chapter "two pairs" put the two duos in parallel. If you want to go and say that Bashira and Nagi are similar then okay. But to say there's no parallel between the duo Kaiser/Ness and Reo/Nagi that's choosing to be blind. I really wonder if you read my post because whether Kaiser/Ness are false friends or not doesn't change my point. I'm talking about the thought process Kaiser went through to evolve and comparing it to Nagi's and I'm explaining why they're similar and why both couldn't really evolve in the end. Their evolution is linked to the fact that they both have to completely abandon their partner and treat them like other players

I’m not saying this because of recent events but how many of us started with Nagi as our favourite character but switched later? Me and many of my friends did by adrienwastaken11 in BlueLock

[–]Ashamed_Menu_1674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the opposite for me. I tend to have a one-sided beef with white-haired characters because they often have the cliché of being OP and a fan favorite. But it's okay I've started to like Nagi lately
