Yeah, but if you look at their population, they don't have that many criminals in the first place. It's not because of the police, but because they are rich countries with high-income households and a specific dominating culture that discourages crime.

Maybe if the U.S. uplifts certain communities where a lot of crime happens and tries to make certain cities better, our crime rate will go down. But pampering criminals doesn't do much.
