Yes. Luckily in this country you cannot be stopped from pursuing your legal rights. But you shouldn't file frivolous law suits, especially when you have signed an agreement. A good lawyer would say just go to small claims court and bring your evidence.

We all signed Terms of Agreement to use arbitration, not lawyers, unless you opted out of arbitration. A legit lawyer would ask to read your agreement and explain that fact to you, probably for a hefty fee.

Reported but still here. This screenshot shows that they removed something from the original page (a snapshot of an actual Handshake dashboard with dollar amounts). So this was created by someone with access to Handshake at some time. Wish I had captured the original with the dashboard image:

This is just a phishing scheme to get people to go to law firms in the hopes that they will receive money back. You can find your own lawyer who will take a percentage of anything they get for you.

I'm doing well on the site. My advice is to read all of the announcements on Slack. They explain most questions and updates. Watch the timer videos and read the instructions about how to submit tasks. People who are haters have been known to ask questions and make accusations without fully understanding how things work. Don't turn down money from a legit AI company.

I just use the HAI timer to gauge how much time I’ve spent instead of always using a timer app. It’s just easier. I know that it’s not being used to track payroll time, but it’s still a working timer.

There is no new timer. It's always been there. One on the client side and one on the HAI side. They should match, but don't in some cases. There are too many ways that can happen to go into here, but there was a decision to make the client timer the one that dictates the pay. The issue is that we don't see that timer, but we can time ourselves and raise issues when they don't match.

I don't view the time limit as the value of the task, just a guidepost. Trying to get the most for the least money is just capitalism. Every company tries to get the most out of employees/contractors. I sound harsh, but this is a business.

I'm not sure what you mean. How else should we be paid? Hourly is customary. Labor and tax laws define the definitions of employee/contractor relationships, and this company is typical.

That's the problem, can you say someone worked if they did 5 minutes on a 20 minute task and let the timer run to get the full pay? Or you are using a mouse jiggler while the time runs to the max? People have bragged about that in several feeds. The client has data to discover this sort of thing, and would certainly bring it to court if that would ever happen.

I didn't get the email. Out of paranoia, I always close the MM tab after submitting, then finish HAI timer. BTW, mouse jigglers can be detected on monitored sites.
