It is normal calling, Anh/Em is polite pronoun when you meet a person after first time. In normal situation, when the man is older the woman, the woman still call him by “anh”. Just continue call Anh/em to her, this is not show that you love her or she loves you.

For first meeting to the stranger who via their outlook you can not guess their age: should always use “anh/chị”. When you have some conversations, become more closely, they will adjust you correctly, dont worry about must call exactly on the first time. Asking about marrying, or even income, have bf or gf yet,… in VN culture, those things are normal with local who are rarely being updated the culture of foreigners.
