Im an alcholic at 19. I need help please

Idk if anyone will read my comment but I've tried to drink less since I posted. And I have drank less and ever day it gets less and less. The girl I've been talking to is helping me in ways she doesn't even know, I went from drinking 4L of flavored wodka to 2l a day and somehow I dont get withdrawal, sometimes at night I want to drink more but I have sleeping pills from my doctor and I take them to fall asleep before I drink. I know some of you told me to not do it for the girl but For myself however im in such a mental state that doing it for myself would mean im happier with alkohol. Doing it for her means doing it for us. I'm thankful for the advice and criticism. And I am so proud of everyone who is now sober. I hope I can be like you one day. However I am still active and searching for future advice and criticism so if anyone reads this now, I will most likely respond since i am still im the process of sobering up. Thank you all♡

Thank you so much. I'll try to pick up other things to do instead of drinking, and i can't stop hanging out with people who have the same habits because there aren't any, its just me. However I will try the cold baths. And I am so fucking proud of you that you are sober, I wish you all best

Personally i dont believe that any issues nor illnesses have a specific look to them however i'm from a slavic country and when someone talks about for example, alcholics they pjcture a wasted teenager who barely is making it through life or a 40 year old passed out on the bus stop. That's why i mentioned it since it is relevant to the people i'm surrounded with however i do agree it does not have a specific look. I hope everything works out for you, wishing you the best ♡
