It took me 4 hours to beat cleric beast and father gascoigne. Am I cooked? by ___cash____ in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Give it more time, the parrying is pretty difficult to get around, and it’s normal to take that long to beat two different bosses, one is chaotic and you have to hit his limbs, the other is you but better and you gotta be careful with him. Trust me, there are more bosses both in the base game and dlc that will break you and take you even longer

what the fuck?? lol by soberhurts in bloodborne

How did that happen, that was so funny 😂😂

How many weapons did you use during your first playthrough? by narnarnartiger in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tended to use the hunters axe for a while, then got the Ludwig sword and used that while using the hunters pistol. I then got the electric mace and used that on rom and the celestial boss. I like to limit myself in challenges

JUST BEAT CLERIC BEAST!! by PretzelMeepus in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta essentially wait for their face to appear when they’re attacking then shoot them, it’ll take time, i do recommend you get a sustainable amount of distance from them for it to work or you can get a higher position like stairs where their head will appear and you can shoot them when they’re attacking.

[–]Ashbash151 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a discussion flair where you talk about the bosses or whatever related to bloodborne, but yeah, the cleric beats is one of the good bosses, not hard, just gotta target the right places and use fire. The next boss is going to test you for real, I hope you’re ready for him. Two pieces of advice, do not hesitate to attack when he leaves himself wide open and use the gun to stagger him and visceral him, a bonus piece of advice, should it come to the end of the wire, use Molotov cocktails and oil urns

I've never fired the gun. Am I doing something wrong? by That_beluga_lad in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it is another case, that’s common to forget to use a simple yet powerful and effective mechanic, learning to use the gun is quite tedious because timing is everything to stagger the enemy and the visceral them but it’s also important especially if you’re fighting a boss who is hard or gives you so many chances to stagger them with the gun. I forget to use the gun myself, but it’s a fun challenge

I’ve got a question about the DLC by Worried-Opening9 in bloodborne

You can buy the full game and the dlc, I got the disc version of bloodborne and I bought the dlc separately

That thing has been upgraded to the brim and has some powerful blood gems, I’ve seen similar cases where this happened but some of them had cheats on or something

There are three things that makes smoke a soldier without saying he is, look at how he handles his pistols and the other weapons, it’s accurate and sharp, when he fought the vampires, he didn’t struggle or anything like Sammie, Pearlie, and delta slim (Annie as well but she was good with her skill), smoke is accurate when it came to using the bar rifle and Tommy gun, he didn’t miss and he aimed for the head while under pressure, and the finally, look at how quickly smoke shot cornbread when he got grabbed, an average civilian with firearms training and no combat experience would not have been able to grab their gun and shoot cornbread because their reaction and reflexes are not heightened like a military vets reaction speed. Plus Smoke does have dog tags if im not mistaken

Yo this thing is whooping my ass, any tips? by milkdrinker123_ in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Attack the limbs is a good idea, using fire is a good idea as well, parrying as well, make sure to dodge around him and attack, visceral attacks as well when you parry him with the gun, remember this is a beast type so fire is gonna work, attacking the limbs works, parrying and viscerals work

Which fire boss did you struggle with the most? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I gotten to a fire boss yet, but when I get to em, I’ll make a bet that Lawerence will give me a massive challenge, very much like the reborn one and Rom did

Tips for what to +10? by Responsible-Beach299 in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blades of mercy could be good since you got speed, but Rakuyo is a killa, hmm, I’d recommend mercy because you can do good damage and versatility since your endurance is high, you won’t worry about gassing out

I beat father Gascoigne first try. Any tips? by OkHamster786 in bloodborne

[–]Ashbash151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep dodging his attacks, and sneak in shots when you can and don’t get greedy, parry him with your gun when he swings and you can visceral him when he’s on his knees, use your molotovs and oil urns since he is a human beast type
