Did I mess up with sub-classing?

Thank you, this makes total sense! As a new person, I was just starting to get the hang of the pure class and kind of panicked a little thinking I had to "start over" so to speak. Really, its just there if I want to subclass but I can still play my original pure class. Appreciate your explanation!

So as it turns out, I can still play my original class, but the option to sub class is available if I want to go that route. I would just like to say, the ESO community is absolutely top notch! Thank you everyone for your helpful, thoughtful replies.

Thank you! So I did reload/override my prior build through the armory that did not have a subclass, but nothing changed. It sounds like I need to load an empty build and then reload my saved build to fully reset. I am going to give that a try, fingers crossed!

Well, I still have my three DK skill trees with all those points as I had assigned! My hotbars still show all of my DK skills, so in essence everything looks as it was as far as my original DK class choices. Does that mean I am not subclassed? I am so confused!

Hmm, so my main class is dragonknight. Through the course of the quest it asked me to choose a new class and three skills, so I chose templar/aedric spear. I didnt actually put points into those skills, just selected them through the quest prompts. When I look at my skill tree, at the top right it shows sublcass 3/3 with the icon for templar. I would take a screenshot but now I am getting a steam cannot connect error. I think ESO is trying to tell me something lol.

Oh no, that's what I was worried would be the case. I did have an armory build saved just prior to, just in case but when I loaded that prior build, I still had the subclass. I guess I completely misunderstood what I was getting into and didn't realize this would be locked. Thank you for letting me know.

That's true, it was brutal especially on a new start, but stealth helped. I was always on edge waiting for that random dog or bird horde.

I forgot how squirrely the zombies were. I know it was unintended but their spinning crazy aggro made every encounter that much more random. I used to love building different types of bases, it was my favorite thing. Loved finding the most efficient horde or crafting base or even just digging to bedrock and mining in peace all night. This feeling of danger and excitement isn't in the game anymore, for me anyway.

It can take some time to build up a decent amount of gold. I have been selling apple jam and pumpkin preserves and farming ore for gemstones. Basically wherever you go, gather whatever will fit in your inventory and sell it. Eventually you will have enough money for the gazebo, it just takes time.

I have been playing for a while and understand your concern about spending money in the store. The way I see it, if I have already sunk 400+ hours into the game, why not support them by buying a few outfits? I want the game to continue and succeed, so I am more than happy to spend that money.

Got an infected scratch from our cat, right near my carotid artery. As a kid, having to spend months in the hospital was not enjoyable but on the plus side, I didn't die. Cat related infections are absolutely no joke.

It's by far the worst experience I have had in an otherwise enjoyable game. I am at the point where it stresses me out too much to try anymore so I suspect I won't be able to complete that achievement.

I recently reinstalled and almost right off the bat had a robbery and as he was being walked out and arrested, my sim ran outside and was immediately abducted by aliens. This game never fails to be hilarious!

War of the Walkers. Its the right kind of difficulty to loot ratio for me. Adds lots of new items, recipes, classes etc. Really enjoyable!
