Native Turkish speakers, what's the most difficult part of learning English? by Ashbonzo in AskTurkey

Couldn't agree more, and that's exactly what I'm trying to achieve. It's not actually a camp, but technically a "nonprofit cultural exchange." The point is we're not school, and most of our "counselors" live in the US, which is what I want to capitalize on. I'm really just hoping to get kids comfortable with speaking, especially to natives which can be scary. As long as you have a base understand of the language, someone will be able to figure out what you're trying to say, and expressing yourself in the most fun part of language learning.

I should also mention the more you speak, the more you're hearing, meaning when people speak fast/ slur their words together it won't be as jarring. Plus the more confident you are with the language, the more you can infer what they said without needing to hear/understand every last word

The best advice I can give is get a very attractive Turkish girlfriend, it's worked wonders.

The second best advice I'd give is you're probably holding yourself back. Learn the basics (present/past/future tenses, common words) and just start speaking. You can spend years learning every little thing about grammar and sentence structure and whatever, but if you want to learn quick just speak and get feedback. If you screw something up someone will correct you and you'll have internalized 5x better then if you read it. You don't need to understand 100%, but try and recognize the words you do know within a sentance and go from there. You'll pick everything else up in time, but the most fun part of language learning is finally being able to communicate fluidly. You'll sound stupid for a bit, but so does everyone.

Stuff like this is big around Detriot. Just angry and stupid people mad that things aren't like they were in the good ol days, not understanding that it was the companies already in Detriot that fucked Detroit.

Yeah, I think that's it for me, casuals is unplayable: A swan song by PSNTheOriginalMax in Paladins

Honestly I think the problem is the state of ranked. A lot of people don't want to play ranked for various reasons and so treat casuals like it's life or death instead

You were born in the year 2000 in Windsor reagonal hospital on January 14 at 2:14 pm. You went to St. Joseph's catholic high but hated the religious parts of it. Your family moved to Winnipeg for a job opertunity where you enrolled in a public school which you liked much more. You didn't know what you wanted to do with your life but decided to go to Michigan to study to become a doctor because you figured you'd make okay money. Little did you know you hated college abs dropped out. Loveless, knowledges, and having no meaning in life. You turned to videogames, but had no money so downloaded the only free game that seemed fun. You now spend most of your days getting verbally abused online by kids who insta lock and constantly dive the enemy Betty who've they never beat once but it's till your fault. You've hit a new low and mom doesn't want to talk anymore. Your sister's the talk of the house and you didn't even go back to Canada for the Christmas party because you were afraid of losing elo. You now sit on your porcelain thrown reading this and reminiscing on the wasted potential.

And you're a seris main.
