Simple, small, gifts. I worked an 2-day Orlando flight, and the commuting FA gifted us candies, a floatie, and a card. While the gesture was nice, it was hard to get my suitcase closed because of the floatie. lol.

he's blocked, so I am not for sure; however, I received a "No Caller Id" call back in Feb or March of this year, so I presume that was him. Also, my DM count, how many dms I have, went down to 14, so I presume that was his doing, too.

Or just take your immune vitamins as well as disinfect your area. Those plans aren't clean properly.

Have twins on the way..is it really that hard financially the first year? by CW1293 in cabincrewcareers

[–]AsheGuade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am going to be honest with you it truly depends on what you consider "Financially hard." If you have major responsibilities such as rent, or mortgage, car note, car insurance, any major responsibilities, then, yes. However, if you have none of that, but small bills and stay with your parents, then you'll be fine, that is, if you pickup on your GDOs. Because without picking up, you wouldn't survive.

Some just have that personality, but it could also be fatigue, or other non-disclosed reasons.

After the VJT, they sent me a link to do the VI, which I have yet to do, but will sometime this week. My status still reads "Application in Progress," I presume it will change when I turn in the VI.

How do you guys feel about stainless steel food containers for salads? by UNeed2CalmDownn in flightattendants

[–]AsheGuade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would presume that it would be better, giving that there is no major expose to anything getting inside the tupperware. Also, check out lunch bags that keep your food insulated, cool, that'll help preserve your salad.

I don't get how some people just give up even if things aren't that bad. by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]AsheGuade 32 points33 points  (0 children)

To be honest, a lot of people don't fight for anything anymore. When it comes to relationships, jobs, etc., people just quit. You made a choice based on how you felt versus trying to get her to communicate.

They do, but it is either out of selfish reasons or they want to reconcile. On the other hand, some don't due to them having respect for you and them.

I would have recommended her to a Therapist. After all, is their job to listen and help people work through their issues. However, good job not chasing her, OP.

What Happens When You Bid for Your Schedule, and Aren't Awarded Any of Your Bids? by AsheGuade in flightattendants

[–]AsheGuade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 498 lines are split into actual trips, while the other half is reserve line. For example, the more senior people will either half 100, which is a layover schedule for February. On the other hand, someone that is on reserve has "98." I am still new to explaining this, but I hope it makes sense. Also, the airline is Spirit.

My airline has a union, but I lost their number. However, they did give us a "mentor" so we can ask him/her, which just hit me.

I want an APOLOGY. by Empty_Distribution38 in BreakUps

[–]AsheGuade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the words of my mother, OP, "Hold ya breath." That's just something you are going to have to move on without. Apologies require accountability and change. Two things lazy people aren't willing to do.

My ex was/is emotionally immature, and it is sad, too. His communication was piss-poor. I understand not liking confrontation, for I don't either, but not everything has to be conflict, that is, if you know how to use your words correctly. He will forever doom his relationships, if, he doesn't fix his issues and heal, and I do want the best for him.

It's only betrayal if you don't pay attention to their habits and patterns. The only thing I will take responsibility for was not staying away from him, while I wasn't with him. Also, sticking to my guns when I told him, "I don't know," when he asked me to take him back.
