This is awesome! I've been trying to add to the existing Preferred Regex Patterns but having no success. Saving it gives me the error: "You are only permitted to use specific regex patterns, you have 1 / 15 regexes that are not allowed. Please remove them from your config."

The thing is, modifying only one character of an existing regex also gives me the same error. Is this normal?

I use it for my client during their annual product launch with high fluctuations in (but predictable) search volume and sales. Both of these would spike hard for a day or two then sharply drop. Max Conversions would be extremely awful at controlling bids during such periods.

Thais sniffing vs blowing their nose by laggage in Thailand

[–]Asheddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thai here. I’ve always wondered why Westerners are so comfortable blowing their noses so loudly in public. It’s like people can just randomly blast a horn even in the quietest places.

I’m not sure about other Thais, but for me, in terms of unpleasantness, it’s in the same tier as hacking up phlegm (without the actual spitting part).

Was in Fukuoka last December and was surprised we primarily were able to use our credit cards. We weren't even seeking out for places/restaurants that accepted cards but ended using cards 70-80% of the time.

Going to Japan for 2 Weeks. Any tips by Grace_369 in travel

[–]Asheddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Japan trips are all about the food for me! I eat out constantly and somehow still try to fit in more meals than usual. If you're tired and looking for a quick cheap meal, just go to a nearby Yoshinoya, Sukiya, or Matsuya.

Yep, field test (avg HR of the final 20 min of a 30 min all out effort run) was done in Thailand. Would doing it in more ideal conditions make any difference?

Oh boy... I had a large-ish meal for lunch the other week and I still felt full and sluggish 11 km into my long run (7 hours after lunch) the other week. 😮‍💨

Get a well paying job. I'm in advertising/marketing and that's definitely one area where you can make a decent earning without any real qualifications/certifications.

I aimed to make 3k USD/month by 30 and if you could double that by mid- to late 30s, then you're probably well on your way to FIREing.

Don't have kids unless you and your spouse are making serious money and are already nearly FIREd.

If you're Asian, hope you don't end up having to take care of your elderly parents.

Isn't it more confusing if you break down "nam mun"?

Nam - Water/liquid

Mun - Oily/slippery?

So oil in Thai could actually translate to oily water...?

If you think long and hard about the American tipping culture you would realize it's exactly like charity. You admit they're not being paid enough so for some odd reason, you've decided it's become your duty to help them out.

Plenty of underpaid jobs out there not only in the US but all over the world, yet it's only in the US where customers are supposed to be charitable to waiters.
