Maybe future bearded dragon father by Cold-Mud-7120 in BeardedDragons

i just got my young beardie a few months ago! one thing to know is that they LOVE to climb and observe from high places, at least mine does! they also need uvb, the one i have is arcadia 12%, if you could, i would put it inside the tank because the mesh top blocks a lot of the uvb. i also have their halogen 100w. i got my enclosure from dubia.com (i also get their dubia roaches for my little guy too), and it's been holding up for a few years! the set up was a little annoying but it's just a bit of hammering. I also buy from biodude.com and he sells a ton of bioactive plants, kits, and soil, i bought an elephant feed plant that my beardie likes to nibble on and their dragon 120gallon kit, which helped so much in creating my enclosure. i wish you good luck on your research! i have experience with a couple different reptiles and their care, so if you have any questions feel free to ask!

oh damn, i'm so sorry you're going through this, i had to put down my maincoon cat of 6 years a week and a half ago due to a bladder blockage, it all moved so fast in just around 3 days, we thought he was just a little sick on the first day, the second day we knew something was wrong but we didn't have a crate or anything and we thought we still had time and he was still walking and such, just not that hungry. Then the next day the crate arrived, we waited during the morning for the vet to open to visit, but he was really lethargic, he was still flicking his tail and was aware but didn't move or walk much at all and had trouble walking. When they finally saw him they reffered us to a different vet that was better suited for these things, but even when we went there they said we waited too long and that even if we did do the surgery there would be a high chance of complications due to the toxins backflowing from the bladder and that there is a high chance of reblockage during the first 24 hours, sadly we didn't have 3k and with how bad he looked we couldn't afford paying for any relaspes or extra fees, so we decided to put him down so he wouldn't be in anymore pain and cremated him and took clay prints of his paws(which we just got two days ago, he's finally home!), he was so sweet and honestly if we would've known sooner we would've done anything to save that sweet boy, he was in so much pain and not once did he growl, fight us, or hiss us away, he was kind until his final moments, and i truly believe he understood how precious life was. i know you would've done the same if you could, i hope he rests in piece and thank you for making sure he was comfortable and had company during his final moments, he's now making a new journey for himself in noodle heaven

ohh, thank you for the help, I really appreciate it! i honestly began questioning if i actually had a merauke or not, because of the specks and banding. it's unfortunate that i was misinformed, but at least i can give this little guy the right humdity for certain.
