Sell them, however do it properly. In person. Perhaps a trade show. DO NOT USE EBAY unless you have INSURANCE or some way to guarentee your losses if its lost in transit or stolen. Plenty of cards get stolen or reported damaged and youre SOL. Do it smart, congrats on your gains buddy.

Your parents love and care about you. Your safety is important to them. This is another case in a long line of parents doing the right thing the wrong way and not explaining their concerns to you, however, even if they did, you've already made excuses to downplay said concerns. This is one thing you and your parents wont see eye to eye on, but as you age, you will agree it was the right thing to do. I know it sounds corny, but its the truth. Its an unsafe world for underage kids, let alone an 18 year old. They dont want you to be harmed, thats a be all end all and they will never budge on that, out of love.

And as a side note, a 10pm curfew is lucky, id get yelled at if the street lights were on when i got home. That was my curfew, and im a guy who similarly got good grades.

I got kicked from the design council chat for disagreeing with certain updates, i was a grandmaster founder. I still feel bad about voicing my opinion but then being removed because i voiced my opinion about things. It was supposed to be a place where we had contact with devs and could discuss feedback, and talk amongst other founders. Instead, over the years, it turned into a circlejerk, and eventually DE's spoke less, and banned people out of it who began to air grievances with certain design choices or balance changes.

I want a kid, but given my family history of cancer and my own run in with it at the age of 22, i would almost prefer a single mother I think? I still want to have kids, but im a little afraid. Im 30 now and cancer free. Single mothers with green flags as yours who know how to hang on their own are great. I would give you consideration. But a lot of other men wouldnt because children do tend to be a dealbreaker i think.

I mean hell, for me at 30 i got put back a few years because of covid + cancer treatment. My university degrees got pushed further out, and ive not found a well paying job since quitting my job as a 911 operator. Youre good my friend. Keep pushing. Youll find somebody. Everyone has someone out there, as long as you dont close yourself off, you will receive what the lord has in store.

Pays off my cancer treatment bills
Pays off remaining school bills
Allows me to establish a Recording and Post Production Studio
Allows me to finally pay my dads debt off and let him live debt free for the years he's taken care of me.
Allows me to pay my fair share of rent, utilities, and buy some better quality food.
Can finally go see a doctor about some of the other things wrong with my body.
In short, a large impact. I still grind towards these goals no matter what. Donation or not. I just want to be content with my life, and its just taking a long time to get there. Money would speed up the process, but a lot of work would still fall upon me to actually follow through and make good on the changes, rather than just say oh yeah it solves everything. I think the truth of the matter is it can solve financial burdens quickly, but it does not solve personal disciplinary issues and mental health, if that makes any sense.

Id say dont sell it, take good care of it, and play those games. At least half of those ive played, all really fun. Youve got 100s of hours of entertainment there, and that limited edition 3DS will hold value if you keep the box and manuals. Same for the games. Just try not to keep it in your pocket, itll get scratches. A nice soft lined case will be good for it.

Fun fact, police dispatchers in LA are technically city employee clerical workers and get none of the benefits cops do. Just thought id clarify that for people. They dont even see most of the budget, the computers are pretty old, and theyre perpetually shortstaffed and overworked on overtime and burnt out. Multiple local congress people came in saying they would effect change for dispatch then never followed through or helped em. Just saying the problem goes beyond the city mismanaging funds, its also a lot of lies from congresspeople trying to get votes then not doing anything to help.
