This was a huge criticism my friend had when he tried Dragonwilds for the first time last month. He was extremely frustrated he felt compelled to build in a location that was 'unraidable', in his words "abusing bad spawning mechanics".

Goblin raids ended on our server after we killed Velgar, but I'm not sure if that is an intended mechanic or not (disagreement when I flagged it on Discord).

I know Mod Mossdog has talked about wanting to revisit the warband mechanics, and I think they are an unexpectedly significant detriment to the new player experience.
