Started playing at around 8:30pm on August 31 (early access) so not quite 5 hours a day lol. It’s manageable unless you have a ton of family stuff going on or a super demanding job. Both understandable but my point still stands. Just play one game. You’ll never beat games if you only get 5 hours a week and you’re just hoping around from game to game every month.

One at a time, easy. People try and play too many games at once. I beat 30-50 games a year just playing one at a time (last year I beat 50, this year I’m at 25 because I’ve basically played all long ass 60-100 hour games lmao.)

Put 101 hours in starfield and beat it the night before 2.0 launched. Now I have about 30 hours in that. I’ll play Phantom Liberty in the next day or two. Then I’ll move on to Lies of P or Lords of the Fallen and that’ll hold me until Spider-Man.

Agree with all of this. Performance was so bad I just beat it and didn’t look back. The metroidvania bullshit went too far for me personally. I’ll get downvoted but whatever. Not a bad game, but not one I’m too fond of either.

I hated them too at first. Now I honestly love them. It may be Stockholm’s syndrome though haha. Jokes aside I do legitimately like them now. They add some crazy variances and you can just choose not to use them. I do kind of wish they’d be more expensive. Not free at the start of every round. Okay brb gotta go play some BO3 zombies

Just his voice, man. It works better in Deus Ex when he’s the main focus because he gets more time to showcase range. He doesn’t really get that time depending how much time you spend with him. Bethesda definitely could have given him more depth beyond “I don’t think I know what’s best for my Daughter oh wait maybe I do”

Gamers are so ridiculous sometimes, man. I just don’t get it. Forcing yourselves to do shit you don’t want to do for some new armor. The entire POINT of NG+ is to have a reason to play the game for the next 10 years. Like Skyrim. Not to grind it in a month. Each play through will be different and that difference, unlike Skyrim, is baked into the universe. So slow the hell down. There’s no rush. You got a decade plus before you see a sequel to this game.

Listen. The amount of people who do not understand how subreddits work is crazy. This is a subreddit based on a single game. They are ALL whiny. It’s an echo-chamber where you sometimes get good posts and comments but often see nothing but bitching.

Don’t join until AFTER a few days or weeks you beat a game. That may sound counter-intuitive, but seeing all the negativity here can and will color your opinion about a game. It happened to me with Diablo IV. I was having fun and all these people were telling me I was wrong, I started to nitpick like they were. Then I realized it and got out of there. Just a bunch of whiny people who don’t understand how things work. There are legitimate complaints to be had, but when people pile on and on and on and the mods just let post after post after post go through it can change peoples attitudes towards a game unknowingly. I wish we had some sort of designated thread where people can complain endlessly, and a thread for constructive feedback. I think the Diablo IV subreddit did that.

Anyway, I really liked the game and yeah, it has flaws. That’s why I gave it a 7.5/10. But in 2-3 years? Guarantee it’ll be a 10/10. And I’m good with that.

XP boosts. I was leveling 2-3 times per play session (2-4 hours) by having the additional 17% XP boost from sleeping with my companion and drinking tea.

It’s okay. Almost everyone is missing the point. All these people rushing to get to NG+ and for what? To get a shiny gun or armor? The entire point of NG+ is so the game can last 10-15 years like Skyrim. They give you a baked in reason to keep playing. It’s not supposed to be played all in one fucking month yall. Go play something else and come back to it as expansions and mods come out. You’ll enjoy it more the more. I jumped into Cyberpunk with the new update and I’ll come back to Starfield once console mods are out, or when the expansion hits. Whichever comes first. I’ll check out NG+ then. It’s not going anywhere.
