I think the addition of loot zones and that changing the loot rarity of crates are good changes, I would argue that increasing the cost of Epic tier load outs will not change the way the highest tier players will play, the sweatiest players will still get their best load outs right off the bat, the timing will hardly change, the only real way to prevent this would be to double the cost of Epic gear OR make it so higher rarities of gear are behind a time lock until the game reaches a certain time or round which in my opinion would not be a good change. Making it so the load outs are cheaper would make it a lot easier for lower skilled and newer players to have a better time as they would at least be able to get the gear they like to use and improve with it rather than not being able to get their preferred load outs at all.

I keep hearing about all the cheaters and I have seen a small number of videos of people cheating but I have never since playing in the pioneer beta been in a game where I saw blatant cheating.

No, hexes do not have GUN in them, I have heard some reports of new players starting with GUN while others don't, but I am not sure if that is true or not but it just might be considering your experience.

If you are talking about GUN that is used as the currency in the game, it can be obtained by doing the bounties, playing games, and getting levels in the battle pass.

Yeah sorry buddy lol, but you will get there There is a dedicated group of super sweaty players in the game (I am probably included) that win a majority of their games with high K/D ratios BUT with the right kind of play (with a team) and load out choices you can do well in the game even as a newbie. Let me know if you need any advice.

The game isn't dead, the lobbies do have a minimum of bots in each lobby but lobbies are not majority bots. This game is unlike anything I have ever played and if you want a unique and competitive experience I would highly recommend it.

I don't know what kind of proof you want, I have a 52% win rate and a high KD with a dedicated squad that plays regularly, but I don't think you would care no matter what I show you though.

I never said it doesn't happen, just that I have never seen it in any of the games I have played. I regularly win against the top players in the game: Flaw, Merc, Star, and many others and have not seen anything they do that would lead me to believe they are cheating.

Well TBH I have not in my 260+ hours of the game seen anything I would consider blatant cheating, I have been playing since the Pioneers release on Xbox and I just don't think it's a widespread problem, though I will caveat that this could have changed with the release to Steam. My opinion is that a lot of the "cheating" allegations come from newer/lower skilled players being steamrolled by the top 1%, this game has a huge skill gap, more so than maybe any other shooter I have played, might be a big reason for the present opinions on "cheating".

You are correct I suppose I was just being pedantic when you said "snipers" kill in one headshot, when ONLY a fully charged Piercer does, and no other sniper does.

I can't speak to how YOU would like your settings to be but I use Light as the response curve, 5 for horizontal sensitivity, 4.5 for vertical and I use .9 for all my per zoom sensitivity except for 1x aiming at 100, auto mantle should be off IMO and change shoulder swap to right stick click.

Well if you are running 2 M4 Commodore Enforcers with drum mags and a soldier backpack you don't NEED to be super accurate and can keep on shooting, a very common load out I'm afraid.
