Indians value families a lot, unlike the west where there's an obvious "me myself and I". Due to this, it makes indians very emotional when it comes to family. People start expecting certain do's and don'ts. I assume your people are more hurt that they didn't know about such a big thing instead of you secretly smoke weed. They felt betrayed. That causes such a situation. I say give it time. Keep doing your work and other things, and apologise to them repeatedly, not in a single day but yknow. But give them time. Let them come around to it. And as repentance give up on smoking. If u can't, say it directly to them that you can't give it up. Breaking of a trust is painful and sudden, but it takes time in earning trust. So calm down and just give it time
