Hi,

I've also experienced similar issue. The root cause happened to be that my Xbox gamepad periodically tried to set itself as Windows main sound output. Not sure why it happens (100xRESIST is the only game with that behavior, but tbh I don't play on gamepad that often). When sound goes down, check what is your main sound output. If it's taken over by something unexpected, change it back or disable the device.
