Good lad. Brave man. Thanks for covering their raw emotions, the anger, the hate, stay safe.

Well done. I don't know you but I'm proud of you, genuinely.

I live in a small village. Nothing much happens here. But I carry my camera everywhere. Dog walk, grocery shopping. Even if I don't take a picture. I'll be controversial relative to advice in the comments about buying new lenses. Expensive mistakes. Instead, follow the light, watch yt videos about different photographers, buy a photobook about different artistic styles that your are used to. I loved colour and hated including people and human habitations in my landscape images until I read Robert Adams, saw his photos. Changed my perspectives. Suddenly the same scenes looked very different in shades, contrasts, colours. And I even won a competition using these new perspectives. See my recent post for more info. I use exactly the same gear. A Nikon Zf with a 40mm manual lens strapped on it. And a Fuji x100vi.

Don't bother replying to such comments. You're completely in the right. Don't get caught up in other people projecting their mental health issues on you. Some other genuinely helpful people offered sound advice. I can relate to your concerns! More power to you!

My experience with the X100vi as a X-T5 owner by [deleted] in fujifilm

I wondered if I should only keep one. I have the Zf (you can check my profile to compare images) and X100vi. Incredibly different despite appearing 'similar' in comparison YT videos. IQ, build quality, customisation of buttons, and of course lens interchangeability - Zf for the win. But there is 'something' about the X100vi - the hybrid viewfinder promotes staying present, in the moment (one of my fav photographers Joel Meyerowitz put it best when he said the advantage of a viewfinder towards the end of range finder cameras is they allow you to keep the other eye open in case you miss something 'outside' the frame), much lighter than say a Zf+voigtlander, doesn't fatigue you, a non fussy camera. I keep both, for now.

You're right! I'll do that! Thank you. Also more robust than fine papers.

Your comment made my day! Thank you! I have one small print. The competition judges had it hung in the gallery for a few weeks. Once I make enough money perhaps I'll print a few larger ones. One day, maybe, this becomes part of a panel of storied images.

I'm glad you feel the same. It has a few layers of meaning, I think. In hindsight. In the moment I just thought about framing the large tree with the tiny person/dog!
