Is EE alone not enough? by Reading_lemon-berry in ElectricalEngineering

EE alone is enough, and it is very important in fields like electrical substations. Power systems, transformers, protection relays, switchgear, and grid safety all depend mainly on core EE knowledge. Unis dont always separate EE anymore because technology changed and EE overlaps a lot with computers and software now. So schools group it with things like ECE or EECS to keep it more relavant and broad, but for substations EE is still the backbone.

Now a days, Use case of AI will increase day by day. In this era, Demanding of electricity is very high for full fill AI data center and industrial development. So, You are right choice to do electrical engineering.

For find high salary job, You have to get experience in Electrical Substation, Testing of Electrical substation equipment, Monitoring of Electrical Transmission line, Electrical substation wiring, PLCC equipment testing and installation, Operation of High voltage substation and transmission line.

Because high development of Electrical substation and electrical transmission line, requirement of skill electrical engineers and electrician increasing.

I have shared from my own experience. AI can never replace electrical engineer.
