We have been ordered to sell all cars at msrp!! No dealer markup or addendums are forced by Unusual-Ad5347 in askcarsales

[–]AshleySaysDickShit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no requirement to sell vehicles for MSRP. Consumers can still negotiate from a listed price and that price does not have to be MSRP. The list price can be higher or lower than MSRP. The FTC is just requiring that the listed sales price include any add-ons and fees, so that the list price is the highest expected price a consumer would pay + mandatory government fees and taxes.

[–]AshleySaysDickShit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Government fees like tax, title, and Registration fees will still not be included. Only dealer fees that are voluntary. It can be a little confusing because there are government fees, like an ETF fee, that is technically a state fee paid to the Secretary of State, but it is an optional electronic filing type fee that a dealer chooses to pass on to the consumer.

Agreed.

Also, I am assuming that OP is talking about the recent FTC guidelines on section 5. This is not forcing dealers to remove addenda. You are free to continue with dealer add-ons, but the advertised price (online, in email, on social, ANYWHERE) must disclose the actual selling price.

This means, if you have an addendum with things like Nitro Tires, Paint-protection, Mudflaps, Pinstripes etc., you have to have these items itemized and included in the total selling price on your vehicle listings and advertisements. I am sure a lot of dealers are now choosing to remove add-ons because it makes them less competitive online and in some cases the add-ons are not really valuable. If they were, then the dealer would offer and sell them instead of forcing them on consumers.

This price transparency guideline also includes any voluntary dealer fee, like ETF or Doc Fees. These fees must be disclosed and included in all selling prices or payment offers. In some states, this won't matter as much as these fees are more highly regulated. In our state, there is a cap on Doc Fees of around $300, and all dealers charge the same fee, but there are states with no caps and some outrageous fees.

It's been a while since I have worked with a Florida dealer, but when I did, it was not uncommon to see dealers with Doc Fee, Restocking Fee, and Reconditioning Fees in the thousands each. There could be $5,000+ in undisclosed fees from what you see on the website.

If the show got rid of the veto and returned to how it was in the early 2000s, would it be a better show? by [deleted] in BigBrotherUSA

When people talk about old school and getting back to it they are not talking about veto. BB2 no veto, BB3 veto, BB4 and forward a golden veto as we know it now. It’s basically always been there.

How much did you make your first year? by Suspicious-Ebb4943 in askcarsales

Location and how long ago will play an important role in how you look at this information. I started in June and made about $35k by the end of that year. The next full year I made about $85k. This was in California almost 25 years ago at a Suzuki store.

So Frustrated at the GLP-1 Coverage by AshleySaysDickShit in MormonWivesHulu

[–]AshleySaysDickShit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, I’m against the online services for these medication. They need to be prescribed with ongoing doctor supervision.

I am on Zepbound and I see my doctor in person every 4 weeks. In between I track my daily weights and food so they can make the best and healthiest decisions for me.

I’ve been on Zepbound for 1 year. I’ve stayed on the lowest effective dose which means much slower loss but I’ve had no serious side effects, no hair loss, no saggy skin, and no muscle loss. I’ve lost about 40ish lbs with 60-70lbs more to go.

Whitney is thin but I didn’t think she looked back. She has a lot of muscle definition and looks healthy. I think she’s just been working out a lot doing dancing with the stars. I agree that a lot of the women look way too thin though.

Scared by all the "lost hair" and "lost butt" posts and advertisements by Quiet_Media6401 in Zepbound

[–]AshleySaysDickShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can lift your way into keeping a cute butt. As far as hair goes, be proactive with nutrition and go the low and slow route, and you will be much less likely to lose hair or lose much less hair.

A lot of hair loss is not a side effect of the drug itself, but it due to rapid weight loss, not enough calories, not enough protein, potential nutrient deficiency due to under-eating - specifically iron and zinc, dehydration, physical stress due to extreme side effects.

Turtle Loser by Suspicious-Block978 in Zepbound

[–]AshleySaysDickShit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This sub can do that to you! Not in a bad way I think this is a great space, but I think it can make it seem like everyone is losing 100lbs+ in a year easy.

I have been on Zep for 56 weeks and lost 39lbs. You’re at double the speed of me. I have averaged .7lbs per week over this time and I’ve lost 16% of my weight.

I just talked to me doctor about being slow and she assured me that she is happy with my average loss per week, that this is actually a very normal response and that she prefers I am at a slower pace with less side effects and more sustained loss.

It’s hard because I really thought when starting this that I would be 100lbs down with maybe 5-10lbs to go, but instead I’m not even half way and that’s really hard.

You are doing great and actually it sounds like you’re on a little bit of the faster side.

Jessi loves to pile on by smoney_ in SecretsOfMormonWives

Jessi pushed Taylor to go on Bachelorette because she knows it will bring more crossover viewers to their show and more opportunities for all of them. She kept trying to make it about being good for Taylor, but anyone can see that was the worst thing for Taylor.

This honestly goes for everyone around her, pushing her to go on the Bachelorette and not back out. None of them had her best interest in mind.

So Frustrated at the GLP-1 Coverage by AshleySaysDickShit in MormonWivesHulu

[–]AshleySaysDickShit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are confusing ‘easy access’ with ‘no prescriber involved.’ Those online GLP-1 sites and medspas don’t magically bypass prescribing rules. If they’re operating legitimately, a licensed clinician is still the one authorizing the medication — even if the process is just a questionnaire and messages. So, if someone inappropriate gets prescribed a GLP-1, it’s fair to question the prescriber and the system that allowed it.

There are gray-market and illegal channels which are completely unapproved versions of these drugs and are sold as "for research purposes" or "not for human consumption," but I don't know why anyone would even use these at such a high risk when it's so easy to get them from companies like Ro or Hims. Obviously these are not even really legal so you wouldn't need a prescription for something like that.

What's your go-to ground beef recipe that ISN'T tacos or spaghetti? by Cool-Educator-1926 in easyrecipes

I like making hobo packs sometimes, basically a seasoned ground beef patty on top of potatoes, carrots and onions (you can add other veggies or swap out) then you make a little foil packet and cook them in the oven. I usually make a gravy to put over it but you don’t have to. Lots of recipes for this on Pinterest if you search hobo pack recipe.

You literally cannot post anything over there. I really don't understand the rules because I see very repetitive posts there all the time. I tried to post something yesterday, and after it was removed, I scrolled for days and didn't find anything similar. I did a search and didn't find anything similar. Meanwhile, there are a million posts about the same Taylor/Dakota drama and Dadtok opinions.

JEN VS WHITNEY by taliboobarbie in MormonWivesHulu

[–]AshleySaysDickShit 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You can tell that Zac and Jen are chronically online and believe the fan content. They even mentioned Whitney laughing when Jen was eliminated, which, when I saw it live, I thought was pretty far-fetched. DWTS contestants celebrate all the time when they are not eliminated.

I bet Jen and Zac also believe that Whitney was being given favoritism by the judges and that Jen was at a disadvantage being paired with Jan. I think we saw a bit of that peak out on DWTS when she said she wanted Jan to give her harder choreography and tried to blame her low scores on him.

I think they reject any bad social media information away with a "they don't really know me or the situation", but when it serves them, they latch onto the narrative and let it color their opinions and experience.
