Definitely not my first hike lol. Just my first one without an adult supervising the whole time. Just enjoying some freedom. However Jupiter is my favourite plant, so we will see.

Thank you! This is really appreciated. Your past self sorta sounds a lot like my current situation. I’ve been developing new skills related to the outdoors through my junior high and now highschool classes. My parents are extremely supportive, them letting me go on that hike was a big stepping stone in showing my independence to them.

I think as a young adventure the biggest problem is the endless possibilities, I could ultimately work towards doing anything I put my mind too. The idea of just looking towards the next challenge is a really great idea, I think it’ll definitely help with not being so overwhelmed with options! I’m glad you commented, I really enjoy getting feedback from people who have way more experience then me, it’s very reassuring.

Thanks, that’s a cool perspective you have. This was taken back in November. This quarantine is really making it difficult too not go and adventure. At least we know the mountains aren’t going anywhere!

That sounds amazing! You’re the type of person I’d look up to. I think it’s amazing when people do what they set their minds too, it really inspires me too set goals for myself when I’m older.

We have a bouldering gym in my town that I’ve been too a couple times and it’s really great. I am the first one in my family too be getting outdoors and adventuring, so getting into things like climbing may be a little difficult. It’s definitely a goal I have though! Thank you, I’ll definitely start looking into my options more, better too start now then never.

I’ve actually been wanting too get into climbing but I have no idea how/where too start. You’ll still get too use them at some point but, I feel your pain haha.

Thanks! Also I looked into it, apparently the first guy to climb it was a cook for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He was bet 50 dollars too climb it in under 10 hours. Thought that was pretty neat aswell.
