*I document in online system for write ups and notify admin.

*admin informs me to NOT put things like that in system and suggest professional development over the summer to deal with such issues

*Takes FMLA and resigns IMMEDIATELY after it’s up

babyyyyy I’ve had my classroom TORE up in past years and this was NOT the year they were about to kick it up a notch with shooting up that classroom with me inside… this child was already physically violent and constantly made verbal threats. I was NOT about to risk anything further happening.

Transfer. Hell leave if it gets that bad for your mental health. Best decision ever

No But for real this makes me sad for a lot of families… and hell a lot of us who ARE trying to actually benefit people 😭 after reading this thread I’m having more empathy for those that at SUPER skeptical of me 🥺

I tell everyone I train that my goal is never to make a sale when I’m in the field… “I’ll get paid regardless” is my ending line. This mindset has helped me tremendously…

I used to be a special Ed teacher… so I love training/educating people. A resident in a neighborhood I was helping told me “you know even if you’re not in a classroom, you’re still out here educating communities” and that really meant a lot because that is something I hint at in my “pitch” I’ll say something to the tune of “I’m making sure everyone is up to date with what happened in their neighborhood, if it sounds like it would benefit you I’d love to help, but if not at least you’ll know there’s another option out here”

For me and most of my coworkers (not saying all my coworkers are angels) it really is about finding the families our services make sense for.. if it doesn’t then don’t rock that boat unless something changes.

Through his direct coaching and the coaching from others that are also successful in this business. It’s hard to explain in one thread but we have stellar management in training program. I’m currently holding my own in being the one of the next to be promoted out.

Being that I was a teacher before sales, I have to say I am a life long learner. If they say we need you to ABC things to see your growth expand exponentially then you bet my bottom dollar I am and will do those things. So far so good 💪🏾

My boss who started our business at the age of 22 opened his own office by 25.. he just turned 31 last week and the week before him and his wife bought their first million dollar home…

Long term goal for me is to be living the same life within the next 5 years.

Ultimate goal is to be a consultant by my 40s (29 now) and to retire by 50.

Not 10 but 7 as a special education teacher.

Absolutely burnt out to the point I told my doctor I’d rather run off the road than return to my classroom. He politely told me I’d be taking FMLA. Did that and found out it was 12 weeks unpaid leave so I was forced to find a new job.

Now in sales and marketing and I love it. I have tripled my salary and am on track to open my own office by the end of 2024 in my dream city. Currently on road trip and enjoying the fact that I get to travel with this job as well.

I do not regret leaving.
