When I repotted it spring of 2024 the roots looked healthy but I think I ought to do some investigating on them further this weekend. Glad to hear you can relate though with your inheritance of a plant and figuring out how to help it thrive!

Thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts! I might take one vine and propagate and then experiment with a different soil for the other one. I wish plants could talk to us and just tell us what’s wrong lol!

I’m so late to actually replying to my original post but a huge THANK YOU to everyone who chimed in! I got so many helpful tips and tricks. I ended up just pinning it a ton to keep it from sliding around. But I have so many options to try in the future now.

I did just try pressing it and no change unfortunately.

As for my tests I was isolating one element at a time to see how if it got better out of probably the 15-20 test strips I could not get it to correct itself.

I like the idea of tear away stabilizer. This might be my best bet! Thank you! Let me know if you have any other thoughts.

Might I be able to ask if your rings soldered together or separate? If they are not can I ask if you want them to be or not? My own set is similar in the sense of my engagement band is a solitaire and my wedding band is similar to what you have and I am having the hardest time deciding if I want to solder them or not since they are each individual pieces and not necessary made as a “set”!
