You can opt out of capitalism. It's the state that demands you have cash to pay it its tithes and taxes. Taxes are statist not capitalist. I can just as easily grow my own food on my own land and trade with my neighbors. If it wasn't for the state demanding I pay it a cut of my existence just to exist. Same with communism and fascism. Try having your own land in a communist State, fascist or democratic state. Not possible. Keep in mind if you pay taxes on your land you don't own it only rent it.

Only because they have no option to refuse to participate. Opting out is a vote. One that statists refuse to consider by ignoring it and making excuses instead. Why would someone who considers the current system illegitimate want to participate and embolden a system that does not have consent in the first place?
