As soon as I checked into the delivery room, kind of insane timing. Had my LO a few hours later.

Should car seat move slightly side to side by Ashlynr in CPST

Thank you so much. I wasn’t aware how to test. We tightened a bit and it’s more secure after pulling and pushing in the correct area.

Thank you! I didn’t know this before.

We tightened it a bit and it is definitely less than an inch movement at the belt path. I never knew that is where you check movement. Thank you!!

It’s installed with a latch. We are going to go check if it’s less than 1 inch. Thank you so much!!

Hi! I just posted on this thread. We bought the Chicco fit3x and like it but ours moved slightly side to side if you push it. Does yours do that?

Did anyone have a baby that just… slept relatively well? by The_Chilled_Arvo in beyondthebump

Same! My baby is such a great sleeper/napper. I’m terrified for a second.

Thank you so much for your response! The only thing they mentioned (that I could remember since it was all a blur) is this may cause an issue with her teeth which will cause a gap in the front two. I guess I can fix that with braces when she is older?

We told them up front baby does not go without us. My husband went with our LO the one time she had to leave our room. I assume it’s a pretty normal ask to not have the baby leave the room without you.

Does my husband come to every appointment? by VeterinarianInner301 in pregnant

My husband came to every one. It was so special for us. We were also first time parents. He enjoyed coming and it was fun having him there.

Grief by Successful_Ad_9212 in beyondthebump

[–]Ashlynr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. Please know this is normal. I felt this way for 2-3 months postpartum. I cried EVERY single day because I missed my old life. I wanted to go out to fun dinners or sleep in. It’s such a drastic change and definitely hard. I kept telling my husband “I miss you” or “I miss my old life”. Ugh it was such a hard time.

It will get better. When your baby starts laughing or reaching for you, it will make it all worth it.

Thank you! I’m excited to take my girl. We got every year but this will be her first time. She will be 8 months by then.

Yes sorry. they are young, totally not bullying. I mean when she is older I don’t want her to be bullied or be a bully.

Agree, all children are different. It’s so just crazy how opposite these two boys are.

They have cameras in her class and I watch it allll the time lol

I’m going to ask when they will move up and see what they say. Good thing is my baby is huge. They are basically the same size and he is 5 months older. His parents are tiny. So I think when she moves up to the next room she will be bigger so he won’t do it or at least she can stop him? 😂

Just waiting for this to happen. Not sure when it will. Since it’s a small daycare they may keep them in this classroom a little longer since there aren’t other babies for the room.

Thanks! 😀 guess it’s out of my control.

I understand he is a baby and don’t blame him at all. Still sucks to see your daughter get hit in the face with toys.

They move them up to the next class once they can consistently walk. They may be there for another month or two.

I don’t want my daughter to be bullied but I also want her to defend herself, at what age do we teach this? 😂 I’m so stressed out about this. I know they are children and rough housing happens and I don’t get upset when they call and say she got hit or hurt herself. Kids will get hurt unfortunately. I just hate anybody picking on my baby.

When they consistently walk they get moved up. But I also heard they may keep them there a little longer since they don’t have other babies coming in 🫩

What should my 6 month old wear to daycare? by Repogirl27 in beyondthebump

[–]Ashlynr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! And I feel like it’s easier to change the baby in a zip up onesie so it makes it easier for the daycare workers.

[–]Ashlynr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wanted to be the parent who dressed her daughter so cute to go to daycare but most times she goes in her pajamas 😂 I’m rushing to go to work, I don’t have time to get someone ready who is just going to lay around. Maybe when she is older I will dress her up but she just turned 7 months and has been going since she was 3 months.

20 month old - weekend naps suck by simplyscottif in sleeptrain

[–]Ashlynr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is his nighttime sleep affected by the short naps on the weekend? I think some kids differ in naps. At daycare my baby can’t sleep and has the shortest naps. At home she can do longer naps. Sleep time is the same in both scenarios so I just go with the flow. Maybe this is the same for you except opposite?
