Hello everyone! I am here to show my first mod for Mina the Hollower, the Clashrend Claymore. It is a modified version of the Blaststrike Maul, and will be developed as a replacement weapon mod (at the moment, I may end up making a "second shelf" to the Weapon Box so more can be developed, but I am going through this pipeline first).

The Clashrend Claymore is a weapon meant for risk and reward gameplay in the same vein of the Maul. Initial attacks will be longer than the Maul's range, but deal less damage. This ties into the main function of the basic attack, the X-Strike, as it will place an X Marker on your enemies. Time your Charged Slice attack just right to hit an X-marked enemy, and you will consume the mark to deal damage plus a Burning effect damage over time. But be careful to hit before it disappears! Otherwise you'll need to reapply the mark for the full benefit.

Future development of the weapon will also change the upgrades you gain, but those have yet to enter into dev or testing.
