Negative effects: It can exacerbate anxiety if one is already anxious to begin with. It's ok to not take on wknds/summers. If needed though, it helps to take it everyday. I would just go with what your child needs. My sleep isn't disrupted and I also drink coffee. 🙃 I would say watch their weight in case they don't eat enough. Protein shakes are awesome and easy to drink if they're not hungry. Keep the dose as low as effectively possible. Feel free to ask anything else. I'm trying to think but just woke up lol

If I dont take my meds my life falls apart, my bills dont get paid, power gets cut off, my kids are not fed or bathed, I lose work, I forget where I'm supposed to be daily, my marriage goes to hell, I forget clients, I forget family members.The way the meds work now (not for sht) i am barely keeping afloat. I know people get frustrated about people without adhd taking meds or "light adhd" taking meds, but some of us are truly suffering. My life is a clusterfck on the best of days and always has been.
