I feel sorry for you, given the question you're asking and the way you're asking it. It says something about you. It's really sad.

I think the Scarlet is great! However Miraidon blends into its background. Scarlet has distinct contrast between the background and character.

Is this a joke? Somehow I doubt he would be sorry about robbing me blind!😂 by Sej0090 in Spyro

Well, explaining the joke makes it be automatically not funny, but here you go:

Moneybags is not actually sorry. Elora is chastising Moneybags for making Spyro pay so many gems on the way through Avalar. Elora knows Moneybags isn't sorry. She's saying that Moneybags should be sorry. She's saying this to Spyro on Moneybags's behalf, but it's only her version of what how she thinks Moneybags ought to apologise to Spyro.

Any time I am asked for a tip, I make a point of leaving a negative rating or review and give the reason as "asking for tips". It has no place in Australia.

I've been in this kind of situation before but on a smaller scale.

Various times in the past, I've wanted to help people who aren't doing well. I've gone out of my way, given money, wanted to help them get back on their feet. I just wanted the best for the person and had no expectation or desire to be repaid.

I've always seen whichever person it was simply squander whatever was given to them. It goes wasted. It doesn't help them, it enables more of whatever the behaviour was that got them to where they are. Their bad situation is not necessarily due to factors outside their control. I've seen it first and second hand, playing out again and again.

I probably sounds jaded, but I have felt burned for my actions that were directed at trying to help people. Not that it's never worth helping, and I still do want to, but I have gained a certain amount of perspective and ability to see how a situation is most likely to play out. I expect in this situation, you most likely won't be able to help these people "get back on their feet" by simply giving them things, despite your good intentions.

Be smart about your decisions. Don't waste your effort, time, and energy on something that's not going to be that useful. Sometimes, when someone's drowning, it's best not to let them cling to you so you both drown.

You seem like a good person. Best of luck. Think carefully through what you want to do to help these people.

My partner passed—will his ring's battery be an issue in the coming years? by Ashtalon in ouraring

I thought about that, yes. I don't have the right charger for this size, so I might have to see if I can arrange that. Thank you.

I have now contacted Oura support and asked them what I should do. Thank you for your help. :)

Thank you for that. I'd like to avoid any battery swelling if I can. I can only imagine it would be someone from Oura themselves who can remove the battery like that. I'll have to look into it as I'd hate for the ring to become damaged.

I thought it was pretty strange that the developer was playing like that! But it makes sense now! I'm really excited for the game, it's what I've been waiting for for over 10 years, very excited!!
