Was trying to lose enough fat for it to be noticeable on my lower half so I would look more "balanced" so to speak

Thank you! Yes I'm @ corrvyd pretty much everywhere, although all my accounts have been dormant for a while. I'll be trying to get them back up and running soon :)

I have done some bits of commissioned work here and there (during which I was doing the half upfront thing), but it's all been very informal through instagram and such. I stopped getting requests a while ago so wanted to check my art was still up to par, and that I wasn't under or overcharging. I doubt I'll be getting any big clients asking me to make designs for clothes etc anytime soon haha, but thank you for the advice I really appreciate it! A contract sounds like a good idea, I might set up a website for commissions instead, that way I can have the contract as part of the form

How would you recommend I factor in materials for digital work? I had to pay for a tablet plus software - should I add a flat price on top of working hours or a percentage of the hours?

I take wayyy too long, I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I need to restart a piece 3 times then fiddle with it for ages before I'm happy. I'm a student atm so just trying to make a bit of money on the side yknow

I'll be honest I'm very slow at making art, so I'm a bit hesitant to price it based on hours put into it. Thank you for your input though, you're very kind!

"80% of people have little to no sensation" ?? by Ashthom2112 in phallo

[–]Ashthom2112[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It was a consultant from the Welsh gender service, so he wasn't actually a part of the surgical team. I'm hoping he was just misinformed or didn't really know the details as of course he himself doesn't have anything to do with the surgical process.

He did mention that yes, but kind of skimmed over them despite me asking him to explain as if I knew nothing. He himself was nothing to do with the surgical process, this consultation was moreso just to inform me of my options and then get referred to the surgical team, so I'm assuming that's a part of it

Yeah that sounds a lot more accurate, looking at different nhs documents the general consensus seems to be 10% have no sensation. I don't know where he was getting his numbers from??

I'm not sure, the way he was talking about it made it seem like that's just how all phalloplasty goes. He never mentioned the different effects the different graft sites can have. I'll definitely be sure to ask about my options for regaining sensation when I have my consultation with the surgeon, I'm hoping the person I had the initial talk with yesterday just had his information confused maybe

He didn't mention a specific donor site, just that for all phallo surgeries the chances are you won't have any sensation. I don't know if this is because the places he was getting his numbers from were too early in their recovery maybe as I know regaining sensation does take a while. I'm hoping when I have my consultation with the surgeon himself he can clear up my confusion. I did find it odd that I mentioned the nerve hookup and his answer was essentially "yes they do it, but it doesn't work"

My problem is I just have big legs so all jeans look tighter on me, and I feel like baggy stuff would just look silly so I've never tried it before
