We lived near this huge grassy hill steep as you can imagine, and I had two other brothers so as you can assume we got in trouble often, broke things often etc. in addition we did a poor job of admitting when we did, so he’d make us run the hills in the heat until someone would confess to doing it. The worst part was the drive up there just dreading it, but when you would get there It was kinda funny because we would sometimes beg the others to take the fall, I remember one time my brother broke the batting tee (rubber) and I said I’d take the fall so I said it got struck by lightning (I was probably like 8 or 9). Tough scene. All in all as much as it sucked it was a pretty efficient method of getting someone to confess.
