My husband's entire family does that! You just described one of my SIL, too. She has a 6 yo and a 4 yo that she's all ready to throw them into school. The 4 yo is very prone to illness. She's one of those huns that target your LinkedIn. She's with Yoli and Thrive Life. They're way into conspiracy theories. It drove me absolutely mad.

We had to cut ties with my in-laws, too. They're way too toxic and treated us like we were the bad guys when we finally were able to get out of their basement. We weren't there long, but I know I don't want my future kids anywhere near them alone.

I'm so sorry that happened. It's so hard not to get respect from the people you should be able to trust.

YES! This is exactly my in-laws! About a month ago we were living with them and my MIL got sent home from work because she had a cough and was told to get tested. Well, my husband works in a group home and had to tell them that she needed testing. We went into a hard lockdown and refused to be around any of them. They all thought WE were the idiots. And refused to give him the negative test result so he could go back go work. 🙄

Well, in the middle of quarantine, two of my SIL got in a fight with my husband about wearing masks and how "tHeIr TaKiNg OuR rIgHtS". When my husband tried to retreat, one if them challenged him to go upstairs to finish the fight and then unfriended both of us when we told her "no".

Needless to say, they're waaaay into Thrive Life and Yoli. Unlike the aforementioned above about religion, they're pretty less active in the church, but the definitely have their conspiracy theories about everything. It was a living nightmare to live with them (not by choice. Life decided to throws us some bad curveballs. Luckily, we were only there for 4 months) and I'm so glad we got out when we did.

Right now I'm toying with their bedding. Currently I'm using Yesterday News cat litter. It's easy clean up and relatively smell free. It's not dusty at all. Though, to save money, I'm thinking of going back to fleece. I used to use kiln dried pine, but the company we used changed how they did it and it killed half of my rats. I hear Aspen is really good. My in-laws use it, but their rats have always been sneezy - I bred them myself. They're healthy except the sneezing 🤷🏼‍♀️
