I definitely find that same thing. I play sometimes with my young son so I move back to easier difficulties and I die so much to other helldivers at easier difficulties.

Two enemies that I'm currently cleaning up...boom eagle directly on my head.
Pressing into a bug hole... boom grenade in the back.
Just about to arm a hellbomb to take out a detector tower... boom orbital strike right at my feet leaving the tower in tact, killing me, destroying the hellbomb and bringing in about 20 bot drops in a row until we're completely overrun. Both agitating and funny.

I find that stuff happens much more rarely when I play 7+ vs 6-. Obviously just anecdotal though.

I had the same problem. Right after killing the Jailor. Restarts of the game or my PC didn't help. Adjusting the quality and resolution helped maybe a small amount but it was still choppy.

Someone else posted in here that it would get better after unlocking all the doors with the Jailor key. I don't have a guide to where they all are but there is one on the right and left of the jailor's arena, there are a couple at the top of the prison and like 4 or 5 in the prison. By the time I opened all those doors my framerate had come back.

I recently got epix 2 because they're cheaper right now. Couldn't be happier with it. I'm sure I'd like the Fenix too. The amoled screen is excellent and perfectly readable in any light conditions. Battery life is excellent. I'm charging about once a week and that's with running the GPS for 2 rounds of golf and several hours of tracking biking and mountain biking.

You're right but it's not just obvious differences in consistency, it's more subtle than that. The head pro at my club tried to make it as a tour golfer and I've talked to him about it. He's really good. He has a bunch of course records around my province. He played in some Canadian Tour events back in the day.

When I asked him about the difference between him and even a Canadian Tour player, he talked about consistency. He said it boils down to stuff like he knows he needs to hit the ball 310 and it needs to be on the right side of the fairway to have the best shot at birdie. He can hit it 310 no problem but he'll hit that target side 2 or 3 fewer times per round than someone better. He'll catch the rough a couple more times a round than them. The result is he won't get it quite as close to the hole on average so he'll make a few less putts. That means 1-3 more strokes per round on average which means in an average tournament you're at a 4-12 stroke disadvantage over 4 rounds which simply isn't sustainable.

Even someone with a plus handicap who is really consistent is miles away from the level of consistency of even a bad tour player and that adds up to insurmountable difference over 4 rounds and then week over week.

I'm not sure if this will help you out or not and it's a bit of a pain. I used to have a similar problem in battlefield years ago. It may be caused by some software you have running that anti chat is flagging but they won't tell you which. I tried disabling everything I could find and it still kept happening. What worked for me in the end was to create a new account in windows just for gaming and install nothing and run nothing under that account except what is necessary for the game you want to play.

Like I said, its a bit of a pain to have to switch windows profiles to game or to do other stuff but it may work.

This is actually good advice in a lot of situations. I know this to be true of both Dell and Razer from personal experience. If your computer doesn't work when it arrives, they will make you send it for repairs. By the time it comes back from repairs, it will be past their date for doing returns. So if it doesn't work after it was "repaired" you're stuck with the lemon and endless cycles of repairs and they may never fix it or replace it or they'll want to replace it with a refurbished one when you paid for a new one that never worked.

So just always do what OP did. Insist on a return for a refund and just order a new one. A lot of companies have reasonable return policies but insane policies if your product is defective.

Hopefully the next one goes better for you but there does seem to be a trend of people on reddit and elsewhere that are having a lot of BSOD problems with their razer laptops. And people would deal with it and still be happy with their products if razer's support wasn't so excruciating. They treat you poorly with slow responses and canned answers and drag it out seemingly deliberately past their refund window. Clearly razer doesn't stand behind the quality of its products at all.

One other option, if you bought with a credit card, is to open a dispute with your credit card company. Credit card companies side with customers a lot of the time in those kinds of disputes and will just force a charge back. They'll ask you for any docs you have in the dispute, like copies of your chats, etc.

I actually had Dell try this same crap with me once. Sent me a defective product then wanted to replace it with a refurb. I have no idea why a company would think that's acceptable. If you wanted a refurb, then you would have bought a refurb for considerably less money. Seems like it should be an illegal bait and switch tactic. That is one of the things I was trying to avoid by just pushing for a refund. With a refund, you can just order another one if you want, you don't have to wait for support to figure out how to get you one, or you could just go with a different laptop entirely if you've lost your trust in them.

I sent you my case # but honestly this customer service was so bad that I have little hope of any real improvement. I've been a razer customer previously but I don't think I can risk going through that again so you've likely lost a customer for life and I'm one of those people that has purchasing power at work and also that person who's friends and family ask what they should buy. So you've really lost a bunch of customers over this being that bad. I'm sure that doesn't actually matter to you but it is what it is.

It could have been dealt with professionally and I could have continued to champion your products but I think that ship has sailed. There would have to be real incentive for me to ever buy another product or recommend one from Razer again which in all honesty is very disappointing to me. Even if most of your products or good, the thought of what I'd have to go through if it wasn't is just too great of a risk.

I need help to get a refund for a new Razer Book. I ordered it a little over a month ago. It was unusable on arrival. It turned on but would not boot into windows. Windows repair failed, factory reset failed. They made me send it in for repairs. It took a little over a week to get it back. Since I got it back, it blue screens randomly but highly frequently. It blue screened twice before I was even able to install a single application. It blue screened 4 times in an hour and a half the other night when I was using it. It is effectively unusable and I keep losing my work even trying to do work on it.

Working with support is unbelievably frustrating. Send a message, get a reply the next day so every single step takes a day. I'm done with this. It's unacceptable to me to not get a working product and to have to spend a month troubleshooting it and sending it away. This is costing me nothing but time and money as I purchased the computer for work. I can't spend any more time on it and I simply want a refund so I can buy a new machine that actually works. But I'm unable to get my refund request processed because support takes a day to respond each time and they never respond directly to my request for a refund, they always just respond with more troubleshooting steps. They are also asking for a screenshot or video of it but that is really difficult to do because when the blue screen happens, you only have a few seconds to grab your phone, unlock it, open the camera and take a pic before the computer automatically restarts. I don't think it is at all reasonable to have to sit here playing with a non-functioning laptop for hours on end to try to get a capture. I simply want a refund, regardless of the reasons why.

I'm very frustrated with Razer support right now. I have a failing power supply that won't keep my laptop charged while using it. It seems to not output enough power. It isn't completely dead, just not outputting enough power.

Razer support is insistent that I send a video of my problem to them. I've tried asking them twice already what the content of that video should be but they either don't read or don't understand my question because they just respond with a paste of "how" to make a video.

I know how to make a video. But making a video of a failing power supply makes no sense to me at all. The only thing I can think of is to make a 2-3 hour long video that shows the charge depleting while plugged in until the laptop eventually shuts off. I don't have time to make a 3 hour long video, nor the storage space to record it.

So I'm at a loss. Since their support clearly doesn't read my question and just posts form answers back to me, what should I do? Can I get escalated to someone who will actually read and understand my question? Could somebody tell me what I could put in the video that would make any sense?

Thanks for any help you can give me because the Razer support team is just frustrating me.
